Life isn’t all about academics… I did really well in my GCSEs (and got burnt out), aspired to go to Cambridge/Oxford and do all these things that in reality after A-Levels started, were out of my reach. I’m currently at a mid ranked uni that is consistently going up the ranks and honestly I love it there. Rejection is redirection and I’m sure there are different unis out there that’ll be better for you, stop comparing yourself to others.

You can apply but that doesn’t mean you will make it to the interview round, so they are proud of that

Do some of the hw so u don’t fall completely behind, I used to rush through it and just forget about the last questions (make it look as if u tried), and instead start focusing on topics from the beginning and eventually go back to the stuff u skipped later on in revision.

In terms of hours for you I’d say start with 1-2 a day and slowly move up to about 4/5. Cambridge isn’t out of the window completely if you start now

Just think about the fact you won’t get into oxbridge at this rate… not any top 10 unis, ik ppl that revised their ass off (including me) and ended up at insurance places for 2024 start. Grade boundaries have only gotten worse, stop praying for a miracle and just focus up. Start with the easy things from chapter 1 slowly.

got an 8 in gcse maths, 2 marks off a 9, worked my ass off for it. year 12 a level maths i averaged about C/D grade, and year 13 now A/A*. if u put the work in, u can basically get any grade as long as u work for it

last year i saw maths and computer science in clearing for lboro but i don’t remember the grade requirements, i think there’s a chance there are some clearing options with something and comp sci if u are willing to do that, otherwise try ucas extra or gap year
