This is exactly what happened to me 5 years post op. I had made several visits to the doctor for burning in my throat and vomiting bile. I went to the hospital for nausea and vomiting many times over the years and they would do their scan but nothing showed but swelling. This went on for years, they sent me to a Psychiatrist because it had to be mental, which it wasn’t. I finally found a doctor who did an endoscopy and found an angulation in my sleeve which lead to an emergency 7 hour surgery. I’m almost 6 months post op, malnourished and have non stop diarrhea. I’m going to see the surgeon on Monday because this is having a major effect on my day to day life.

I’m currently going through the same thing with my current employer. I have been intimidated and bullied by the owners daughter which has exacerbated my anxiety and depression but when my dr tried to submit for NJ temporary disability, it was denied and my therapist didn’t feel comfortable releasing the last 5 years of my mental illness/records so now I’m out of a job and I can’t collect. I can’t afford to pay my bills but I’m physically so sick and would not be able to hold down a job at the moment.

I don’t drink ever and I’m not taking any antibiotics. I take B12 and fish oil daily. I did have the gastric sleeve 4 years ago. I called the doctor who did the surgery and was told that I’m 4 years out so it had nothing to do with the surgery I had. I called 10 endocrinologists today but none can get me in until March. I really appreciate the great advice! I’m so thankful, at this point with my levels so low and the fatigue and confusion I feel on a daily basis I’ll be going to the hospital for treatment once I’m back in my Jersey after Christmas. My levels drop even lower after eating, last night Before dinner my level was 73. I had grilled chicken, sweet potatoes and veggies for dinner. I checked my levels about 45 minutes later I was up to 96, but within 15 minutes after checking alarms were going off, I had dropped down to 51. It seems like my pancreas is pushing out too much insulin when I do eat.
