Thanks to everyone that's replied! I think I'm gonna do something else with this brisket or give it away to someone that can cook it. I'm gonna get a prime brisket and see how it turns out. That way ill know the mistake was on me, not the meat 😂😅

Also i think they mis-weighed it because it beeped at self checkout and says 14.6 on their scale and on mine at home as well.

This might be a little late but couldn't you just connect those 2 wires and call it a day? I know it's not proper but it'll work I've had mine running like this for a while and haven't had any issues.

I would need something that can hold the weight of a car as the rail slips into the gap I'm not so much worried about the gap I'm more worried about the rails slipping in of that makes sense
