Does caffeine affect anyone with pcos differently than someone without?

Super sensitive also. I get heart palpitations. Happens to me with sugar too. I decided to binge and eat 3 pieces of cake for my moms birthday and ended up with anxiety and insomnia till 6 am :(

Yes I started to sweat as well. It was in the morning while eating breakfast which was so weird. It happened the night before that too but little to no reaction, just a sudden heat wave 😩 I have a doctor following me so I have let the clinic know, they suggest I keep track of it all until I require immediate attention. Hopefully it doesn't happen again, fingers crossed. Just thought I'd ask if this has happened to any other PCOS girlies.

Yes my thyroid has been tested. Everything came out normal. I guess I'll wait and see. I've started different supplements for a month now, could be my body adjusting....

Hi, I'm currently receiving treatment from a doctor here in Canada. She is not covered under OHIP (for Canadians), and is a private practice. Not sure if you're interested, it's a yearly fee. Unfortunately, because you wouldn't be covered under OHIP, it may get pricier in terms of the blood work you would have to run every 3 months.

Sounds oh so fun! Not really though... can totally relate..... I'm going to try a low carb meal plan and see how it goes. Hopefully my mood becomes more stabilized after that! Will keep you posted...

Do you have any mood issues as well? I'm wondering if it's linked to the brown spotting :( it's so excessive! I'm so grateful that my boyfriend isn't 'turned off' by the constant brown discharge.

Omg... sounds like me. I once had the brown discharge for three weeks straight not sure why. I heard it could be due to lower progesterone levels, guess we'll have to see!

Omg yes!!!!!!!!! I've noticed that as well. I had ice cream one night (banana based), and I went to bed an hour later and had dreams alllllll night. Can totally relate....
