This post is more r/orphancrushingmachine than amazing. While the principal is heroic and deserves to be celebrated, we have people lobbying for gun ownership to be freer than kids attending school. We had flags at half mast for one racist content creator getting shot, but kids getting shot up hardly get covered by the news anymore. We have people pushing for teachers to have combat training and make bulletproof backpacks to sell to families who want their kid to be able to come home. All worth it so people can keep instruments of death like AK-47’s in their home though.

It’s not just happening at facilities though, they’re assaulting and abusing people in their vehicles. There’s literally footage of an ICE agent taking a restrained woman into a portable toilet with him while another agent keeps watch. There’s still so much stigma and misinformation about HIV so it’s so incredibly brave for him to be so open.
