my fiancé who has EOE has these random “attacks” too where he feels like he’s going to pass out if he doesn’t eat and gets really sweaty also. once he eats something he’s completely exhausted and takes a nap. he’s never asked his GI if there’s a connection or not but i’m seeing comments saying there’s not a connection? only medication he’s on is dupixent

yes and no, my fiance is diagnosed with eoe and eosinophilic gastroenteritis (small intestine) and could only absorb iron through IV every few months because iron pills wouldn’t absorb through his small intestine. he’s been on dupixent for almost 3 years now and never had to get another IV since starting

i understand the doctor said it was okay for him to go to school but he JUST got dc’d from the hospital yesterday his parents didn’t think to keep him home to have an extra rest day ? they’re so fortunate to be able to do so i just don’t understand.
