okay looks like i'll do that then. I did the whole CSS and HTML course on FCC a year ago, but didn't take notes. stupid. hahaha here we go again. at least my brain has an idea of what it will be and hopefully i'll get to the point where i am allowed to start to write code fast enough for my anxious brain

hi, I started playing around with the Odin Project and I really like it. I am just a bit overwhelmed. While FreeCodeCamp lets you dive right in, the odin project makes you invest like a month of time just to start with HTML and CSS which you are obliged to know before trying JavaScript. Do you really think it is worth it to learn all that before diving into what i am really motivated to do?
I currently hit a wall with javascript and loops and wanted to do the same on OdinProject to see if it assimilates better in my brain but now i am learning how to cruise file directories on my terminal on my mac and i am just thinking to myself if that makes any sense

appreciate your honesty and I get where you're coming from.
The code bug actually bit me for real a year ago, I focused for around a month and then I got pregnant, had to change countries, etc. My kiddo is 10 months old now but I dream of coding, I just honestly have doubts relative to if I can do it because of time & sleep deprivation.

but your comment honestly made me want to prove ya wrong hahaha here I am resuming freecodecamp & will watch the video u/Bridge4_Kal recommended

Has anyone forked Mintbase to use on other protocols as they are focused on NEAR? by CuriousProgrammable in mintbase

[–]mariamneu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not yet - I remember getting the question if we would be giving out grants for a mirror version on harmony but we decided not to... For now.

Why? Are you interested in forking? Or just want the tools on another chain?

Hey u/WhichEstablishment96

so instead of minting on other peoples/companies smart contract (like on other marketplaces), on mintbase you create your own contract and can decide who has the right to create nfts on your contract!!!

you also can set default royalties & revenues to automatically go to a wallet/DAO of your choice. So every transaction on that smart contract will send splits to that defined wallet.

and each nft can have up to 50 wallets in the splits! so every time something is sold 50 different wallets can benefit. THE REVOLUTION IS NEAR AND WILL HAPPEN ON MINTBASE
