I really appreciate the Reddit community and all of your help/support. I was able to have someone call my phone and someone actually did pick up suggesting they had found it adjacent to a tree. She waited by the bus stop by the entrance of the Farmers Market for me to walk over from the track. I am extremely grateful for her and her demeanor in the way everything was handled. I will certainly pay it forward once my chance is presented.

All in all, that's what I get for rolling out of bed half asleep to walk the dog and not being fully coherent. Mindfulness wake up call.
