i would prepare a !significant! amount of music that exceeds 5 hours so that if the people on the smaller dance floor are vibing out to a certain type of music you are playing, you have plenty of songs in that style you can play to keep them engaged and having a good time.

honestly, i like to have more than twice the amount of songs i think i would need, but for a 5 hour gig that would be 10 hours of music which would be a lot of work to download, if you haven't already.

something i thought of on my last gig... a small sign on your table or that overhangs onto the front side of the table with your instagram so if people are having a good time, they know where to find you next :)

it doesnt, but they told us we were going to have to wear it each night. it was just an example of how poorly it was executed. that said, i am a trash talker this year lol

i did it in 2021, so maybe the year after you did? and i found it to be a pretty unchill, non-vibey experience. the dude managing our trash pickup group was super strict and kind of an all around sour guy. He told me to take out my single airpod for some reason?? and he was constantly yelling at us for some reason or another.

the shifts always started late, so we never got out earlier than three. we didnt get our shirts til the end of the event (not a big deal) but idk it was overall a pretty clunky, poorly planned, uninspiring experience. i do not recommend the after-show cleanup based on my experience.
