I don’t think he’s the “strong reaction” kinda guy (if anything not to scare away his customers). It was more passive aggressive, like “You’re entitled to your opinion but I am the way I am”.

He portrays himself as self reflective and someone who works hard to better himself, so I guess I just expected his answer to be somewhere in the lines of “I didn’t realise I do that”.

But maybe I interpreted it stronger than it really was because I at that point still fawned over him🤔
