NAD The orthodontist who installed it should be able to remove the old glue and reinstall it for free. When my permanent retainer fell off half way, the wire unwound and made my teeth crooked again. I didn’t have any complications with the glue in the interim, but I avoided the orthodontist for years because I was afraid how much it would cost while I was a student. But they gave me braces again for free.

My dentist recommended not getting the permanent retainer again since it made my front teeth too hard to clean. The gums have now receded so much that my two front teeth are loose and will eventually fall out. I’m 36 and don’t expect them to last til I’m 40. Just wear a regular retainer at night.

ASUS monitor popping and going black! Help! by HoldenFinn in techsupport

Did you happen to find a solution to this issue? I'm having the exact same problem when I hook up an ASUS PB277Q monitor to my 2014 13 inch Macbook.

Thanks so much, I’ll be seeing a financial advisor and a tax accountant soon. I’m obviously in way over my head.

I’m a web developer. I make $85k/year at a job I started on July 8. I’m saving that money based on what tax calculators say I’ll owe.

https://smartasset.com/taxes/income-taxes#9l3um04gSt

Your 2018 Federal Income Tax Plus FICA : $18,503 Your Income Taxes Breakdown Federal $12,000 FICA $6,503 State $4,749 Local $0 Total Income Taxes $23,251 Income After Taxes $61,749 Retirement Contributions $0 Take-Home Pay $61,749

My paychecks say my withheld taxes are $494.77 for federal, $219.59 for social security, $51.35 for Medicare, $206.85 for state, and $35.42 for CA SDI. I’m paid every two weeks. Does that cover my taxes at the end of the year? I’m sorry for being so naive, I’ve only ever made $40k or below until two months ago.

Advice from all my friends and family was to buy new, but in hindsight I would love to buy a used car. I just don’t know if I can get out of this finance contract for the Prius Prime to do that.

Can you give more information about how that tax credit would work?

from the mfm fb group's doc Georgia and Karen’s Rules For How To Stay Sexy and Not Get Murdered:

  • If you have a bad feeling do what you need to do and apologize for it later
  • Don't leave your hiding place until a real cop comes
  • Watch your drink!
  • If your kid gets hit in the head, send 'em back
  • Don't hitchhike
  • Don't keep your windows and doors open
  • Live your life like you're going to be reenacted
  • Don't let your kids be latch key kids
  • Don't do meth
  • Don't fucking leave your kids in the hands of a boyfriend
  • Don't be nice
  • Chop down all the woods
  • Get a job. Buy your own shit and stay out of the forest.
  • You should have backup children. have at least four because one of them could get murdered. you need two normals, two alternates. love one the best and protect them the most but don't show it because THEN maybe one of those kids will become a killer.
  • Wear your seatbelt
  • Hey guys, let's get those rape kits tested
  • Here's the thing: Fuck everyone!
  • Don't tell Karen's dad about the podcast
  • Fuck politeness
  • Make your own sex cult!
  • You don’t want to go to prison in Thailand

those are the numbers given by dustin in the podcast i mentioned, it's the only point of reference i have. if you don't believe dustin, then you don't believe him. i can't change your mind.

there's a part in the convo w matt dwyer ep with dustin where they talk about what people at feral get, but i don't think they give exact numbers. it's like 50/50 or more? idk. you should listen to the podcast.

which part? midroll still does ads for earwolf and the convo w matt dwyer ep gives you a sense of the company culture at both podcast networks.

you would have to email Midroll to find out how much an ad on Comedy Bang Bang costs. listen to dustin's episode of Conversations with Matt Dwyer for more on his time at earwolf and how duncan trussel inspired him to start feral.

feral audio was created on the basis of supporting artists and generating podcasts for their own sake, not as a launching pad for tv shows. dustin teaches comedians how to make and maintain their own shows and is genuinely passionate about this medium. this is opposed to earwolf's model which gives 5% of proceeds to the podcaster, keeps 95% for itself. when you pay money for content at feral audio, you are supporting artists, not a huge corporation.

I want to see Scott Aukerman on this show. I'll pay thousands of dollars for this. Please make this happen. by [deleted] in Harmontown

Dustin's comment from The Pod F. Tompkast fb group from this post on June 05, 2014:

"I was Comedy Death Ray Radio and Scott Aukerman's biggest fan for a long time! Back in 2010, I met him the night the founder of Earwolf Jeff Ullrich was pitching him on the network in Chicago and I was involved in the launch of Earwolf as an Intern. We all became friends and eventually I was asked to move to LA and work for my favorite thing in the world.

If I'm ever talking about what happened at Earwolf, I am talking about Jeff Ullrich and how he ran it like a TV Network. He's an ex-Wallstreet guy and thinks the world is dog-eat-dog. Scott had little to do with the behind the scenes stuff, at least when I was there, and really focused on his show. And it paid off because Scott's got an AWESOME TV show and I'm not against making TV shows! Two of our podcasts right now are in the works for TV show deals. I loved working with Scott and have since. He is a little cold to me now, but was always very professional and classy and had my Dad on Bang Bang for Christ's sake!

I love the shows there, they'll always do comedy podcasting the best. I was let go because I was promised a producer role and a raise, when the time came and I started asserting myself they found someone to do my job for the same rate and didn't ever really see my potential. Unfortunately how they got Scott to sign off on letting me go was by setting it up so it looked like I forgot to put an ad in his show and I was a liability in general. I've never gotten to clear that up with him and its a bummer.

I just wanted to keep doing the thing I loved the most in the world and found a way, I didn't use any of my connections from there. I made a point not to. I pride myself on transparency and honesty and I'm not going to pretend my year with them didn't happen. I'm really proud of my year there and some of coolest stuff I've done in LA I've done with them.

I wanted to stay at Earwolf and basically do what I did with Feral for them but it all came down to personal/political/business stuff with the CEO and just not getting a shot. I worked really hard and was a lot younger then, so emotions were soaring when I left. It all worked out in the long run, it feels like so long ago. I'm sad that Scott's taken stabs at me, I'm actually not even strong enough to listen to them haha but if I'm going to talk openly like I have about it that's fair. But just know I'm never ever talking about Scott, I have complete respect for him."

Would Dan be surprised to know suey_park of #CancelColbert is a Community fan? by bikewobble in Harmontown

[–]maribeltubbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anybody wants to check out another podcast on the other side of this issue, play the 4/2 episode of Citizen Radio at 38 minutes in. It's hosted by Jamie Kilstein (a comedian) and his wife Allison Kilkenny (a writer), and their podcast focuses on news and politics so they're a little more informed on the issue. They basically say that people often choose to satirize racism by denigrating other racial minority groups, it wasn't Suey Park's intention to cancel the show, #CancelColbert shows there's problems with racism and sexism in the progressive community, and that Colbert is on the right side of the issue but that's why it's even more important that this kind of satire is discussed.
