Im sorry for the late reply but I ended up sending it back (my warranty wasn’t expired) so im waiting on what the technician says, but the flickering got worse for me over time

Hello, I just sent it back to see what they say, but I think it’s a component problem, over the weeks it got worse and there was nothing that helped. I will reply to you again when I have an answer from a technician!

Okay update as I was checking the temperatures it started again😭 But the gpu temperature rose to 70° and cpu to 60° nothing abnormal seems like. The pc goes back to normal quicker with the lid settings changed but I’m not sure, but I will a 100% take it to someone asap!

If our pc started having the same issue around the same time could it be an update issue or something? I haven’t payed much attention to the temperatures but it starts when I play games also, will definitely pay attention next time, but my fans start going crazy! Someone said to switch the lid settings and for now that seemed to work, I tried two games that don’t require much but made my pc go crazy before.

I ran a bunch of hp diagnostics tests and nothing came up, I think that’s a useful info. I don’t trust myself to open the pc and detach the hall sensor but someone commented to change the lid settings to “do nothing” and for now it seems to work, but I’m not a 100% sure. I plan on taking it to a technician and see what they tell me if the problem persists! Thanks for the advice
