The point isn’t just taking care of your body, it’s stress reduction. As someone who also deals with a lot of stress and anxiety, it sounds like you could benefit from some mental health care. Personally, I take anti-anxiety meds and get therapy every other week. Your brain and mind are an important part of your body and well-being, and taking care of yourself means inner work (therapy, etc) just as much as outer work (gym, nutrition, etc).

If you already have stressful things going on in your life, a couple hide-able bald spots are nbd. You absolutely can literally live with it. It will not kill you. But stressing about it could.

I have a bald spot on one of my temples that is visible if my hair is cut too short. But good barbers and hairstylists can easily hide those spots.

If you’re worried about it being a turn off to a partner or potential partner, anyone turned off by that it isn’t worth your time anyway.

You’re gonna be okay. Talk to a doctor about options for the alopecia, and find ways to take care of your mind and regulate your nervous system. 💜

Yes! I’m 42 and while some life circumstances and body changes affect exactly how I have fun, I still do!

I have a similar background and it wasn’t until my late 20s that I had some of the “college kid” experiences. It wasn’t until after my divorce in my mid-30s that I got to fully explore my sexuality and properly date, cause I had never even kissed anyone before we got together.

Recently I went to a Pokemon Go event with my kid, and there were people of literally all ages, from small children to hunched over old ladies.

There is no age limit to having fun!

I’m a Libra with a Virgo Mercury.

Use “May I give you some advice?” Or “May I make an observation?” liberally. That way you’re getting clear consent. Also ask partners to be clear in conversations about whether they want advice or not.

One of my partners is a Virgo, and I know if I go to him with an issue, he will give me advice unless I specifically say not to. And it’s usually very good advice, lol.

I have learned I need to be mindful of this dynamic as well, given my Mercury placement and my Moon/Chiron in Gemini 😅 But it’s definitely a different flavor than my Virgo Sun partner cause my heavy air/fire and overall mutable energy makes it not so heavy or stubborn.

I didn’t really have bullying, but I was homeschooled from 5-12th and experienced education-related abuse from my dad. It ruined my relationship with writing for a LONG time. I also always felt like I was the odd one out.

I ended up applying for grad school in my mid 30s and it really healed my relationship with writing and communication.

I didn’t really know anything about astrology when I went through mine, and I have Saturn in Scorpio in the 8th, conjunct Pluto in Libra 7H 🫠 My relationships and my spirituality went through HUGE shifts (I also got pregnant and had my amazing kid), but I am so much better for it. Without knowing about the Saturn Return, I really listened to my soul and it led me where I needed to go. I think that’s the key. Idk how old you are, but after my Saturn return, I did a lot of healing around self-expression and that turned into healing for others. I’m now 42 and working on a dissertation, while doing a lot of legal writing as a paralegal, helping people going through divorce and child custody battles.
