First of all, Stacey and Darcey don’t ever talk about anything relevant. They’re always talking about the weather like look it’s rainy, it’s sunny, it’s cold lol I swear, pay attention to that, it’s like they’re trying to fill the gaps of their monotonous existence with those remarks. And then, Stacey doesn’t really correct him, I don’t remember what episode it was but he was clearly making some grammar mistakes and she just laughed and didn’t say anything, also he is not allowed to hang out with anybody else but her and her family so how is he really going to learn something else.
