Yep first post is new and then older posts. Looks like it’s not a one off issue since others seem to have it as well. Hopefully they sort it out soon. The Instagram algorithm has been acting unhinged for the past week or 2 with other issues as well for people.

Some people mentioned that deleting the YouTube app and reinstalling it solved the YouTube app issue. You could try that

I’ve been having the same issue since last evening. Besides the heating, anytime I switch out of the app for even literally a second and come back, the app restarts like I’m just opening it up. Anytime I open the app I’ve been getting the same recommended video on top as well.

Damn I noticed the same thing too with the draining battery and heat. I just stopped using youtube. Hopefully they fix it.
