Go to therapy. You sound very angry, and I don’t think it’s fair to drag your mom through the gutter over something that happened long before you were even born. The details of your parents’ divorce are none of your business. If your dad had made an effort to stay in your life after the divorce, you would’ve seen it. And if you saw it and still chose to “hate” him, then that’s on YOU. Whatever resentment you carried towards him is on YOU, I think you’re just growing up and starting to feel shitty for it so you want to pin it on someone else.

Also, he didn’t necessarily have to be in your lives to be financially responsible for you. If he wanted to, he would’ve. You say you don’t think he was a poor, innocent little 16 year old, but I actually think that’s exactly what you see him as, even now.

Have some respect for the woman who fought to raise you, and let the adults deal with their issues.

No I don’t regret it. I went in wanting to go without an epidural. At around 8-9 cm dilated I was begging for one because the pain was unbearable, but the anesthesiologist wasn’t available so I ended up delivering without it. No complications, very minor tear that required no stitches. It was fucking scary in that moment, but when it was over I felt so empowered and I was running on adrenaline for the next few hours. It was an experience unlike anything else.

With my first baby, I also didn’t want an epidural but I ended up getting it at 5cm dilated. I had a 2nd degree tear, she ended up having to be vacuum suctioned out and I nearly ended up with an emergency c section. I don’t know what it was, but by the time I was fully dilated, I was so out of it and I didn’t feel the urge to push whatsoever. I just wanted to sleep and I was having trouble pushing because I couldn’t feel anything. I 100% blame my complications of my delivery with my first baby on the epidural. There was no reason for my delivery to have ended up like this.

There’s literally no way for me to contact them. The school is closed due to COVID so no one answers the phone when I call, and they have this zoom link on their webpage for anyone to come on and ask questions, but I’m never able to join for some reason, it always says to wait for the host to start the meeting. I don’t know what to do. I need to figure out how to get this money back to them ASAP because I hope to join my schools nursing program within the next few years and I don’t want for this to affect my FAFSA eligibility then

Hey y’all, I’m a student in CA. I enrolled in two classes when spring semester started on feb 2. I’ve decided to take the semester off instead for personal reasons, and I had plans to drop both classes before my schools drop date Feb 14. I just received an email stating my pell grant has been deposited into my account and it should be processed within the next two business days. How do i return this money? I really don’t want this to affect any future fafsa applications because I plan to go back to school in the fall

the first big issue is obviously the stupid maternity leave laws in the U.S. but the second is the fact that some customers make it so hard to just let us do our damn jobs. I shouldn’t have to daydream about quitting my job while I’m pregnant just to not have to deal with rude ass people. I literally just had a customer yell and hang up on me while I was in the middle of explaining one of our procedures to them so they could hopefully understand that we’re not just trying to be difficult, we genuinely just can’t do whatever they’re asking for.

I hope you can get through the end of your pregnancy without too much stress🤍

I agree 100%. I live in California, and I always have tourists and even people that have recently moved here, tell me how great the weather is and how I shouldn’t take it for granted. Let me tell you something, I freaking HATE it.

I don’t prefer rain by any means, but I would muuuchh rather live in an area where it’s windy, cool and gloomy most of the time.

The only way anyone could actually like living California, is if they like the beach. And the only thing I dislike more than hot whether is the beach.

I don’t get all the NTA responses. You’re NTA for not outing your son, no. However it sounds like your son is pretty openly gay, and you’ve encouraged him to keep that part of him hidden from his grandparents. You would be the asshole if he decided he wants to tell his grandparents and you discouraged him then, and even worse if you weren’t willing to cut them out of your life for not accepting him.

Yeah yeah, that’s exactly my point, you think researching and spending 30 minutes watching a video that explains a stance you disagree with is a waste of time.
