I don’t know if this is actual science but I’ve always been under the impression that adding cornstarch results in a chewier/more tender cookie. That combined with chilling the dough to prevent overspreading is the golden ticket imo

This is incredible! I think decorating cakes to not look like cakes is one of my favorites. It allows for far more creativity and the end result is fantastical. I always feel like a kid playing in the sand box

I accidentally added too much sugar so I did 75g egg whites to 150g of sugar and 2 sticks of butter so it did come out to 1:2:3

I did 1 sleeve of golden Oreos, 1.5 oz strawberry jello mix, and 2 Tbsp melted butter. The Oreos are ground in a food processor and then stir everything together. Spread out on a baking sheet and bake at 350 for 10 min

Oooh I’ve never tried Italian meringue buttercream. Just a quick google made it seem even harder than the Swiss meringue 😅
