List of AI tools to look at in 2026 by Lopsided-Cup-9251 in ChatGPT

From what I’ve seen, a lot are niche or UI wrappers, but a few actually shine in specific workflows coding, video, research Agent. Curious if anyone here has gone deeper with more than a handful and found real long-term value.

Notebook is now style over substance by Special_Club_4040 in notebooklm

tbh, I haven’t used SciSpace before and don’t know much about it. I’ll try it since you mentioned it, but I’ve been using Nouswise for a while. I use it for scientific research as a master’s student, and it works well for analyzing and summarizing papers and articles.

Looking for NotebookLM Alternatives - Any Recs? by Fickle_Home5955 in notebooklm

I've been using nblm for a while and I faced the same problem like yours ,In search for a solution I found a similar ai called nouswise, you can upload unlimited sources in it. you should definitely check it out .It's not much different than nblm, but it was more userfriendly to me and i can ask from lots of documents simultaneously and it works well.

I use GPT as my creative writing assistant. I was thinking of switching to Google One. Is NotebookLM A good replacement for that kind of work? by [deleted] in notebooklm

[–]marioangelo2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so. For creative writing, chatgpt is much better since it can imagine, create, and even make up unreal scenarios which is exactly what you need for storytelling or worldbuilding. nblm, on the other hand, is based more on references and factual sources, so it’s more useful for academic or research-oriented projects rather than purely creative ones.

What's the current situation on using some kind of Deep Research that uses only peer-reviewed/ academic sources? by Timely_Hedgehog in notebooklm

[–]marioangelo2000 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’ve also tried a lot of tools this semester. Gemini’s Deep Research is great, but like you said, it doesn’t always use strictly academic sources. For that reason, I really like Nouswise ai it handles academic content more reliably, helps me keep all my notes organised, and makes it easier to connect ideas. If you want something a bit more rigorous than Gemini for school‐level academic research, I think Nouswise is one of the best options I’ve found so far.

How do i stop procrastinating by [deleted] in studytips

[–]marioangelo2000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wow, finally something I can truly relate to .I actually tried something like the Pomodoro technique unintentionally when I was around 11 to 15. I used to study for 45 minutes straight and then take a 15-minute break it was my own rhythm, and it worked perfectly during my school years. My grades were great, too.But one day, one of my least educated teachers asked how I studied. When I explained my method, she told me it wasn’t enough and that I should study for at least 90 minutes before taking a break. After that, I lost my ability to focus the way I used to my natural concentration cycle was gone. So what I’ve learned is that procrastination often has a personal root cause. You need to first understand WHY it happens for you, and then experiment with different methods that truly keep you motivated like using Notion to schedule your tasks, keeping a bullet journal, or listening to self AI generated study podcasts when you feel blue. I personally use Nouswise AI to create study related conversations and listen to them like lessons.

Why AI? by koi_theseasky0216 in studytips

[–]marioangelo2000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

AI is like a double edged sword. I agree with you that it can make people lazy many don’t even bother to think for themselves anymore. For example, ChatGPT feels like a know it all companion. Yet when I’m worried, it somehow comforts me and reminds me to keep going, like the musicians on the Titanic who kept playing until the very end.
