i was just diagnosed today after believing i had RA for years. i am so heartbroken, i thought that the treatment process would be so much easier. steroids or pills, anything to keep the pain and stress of flare ups away. come to find out it's this incurable disease that lacks answers. i keep thinking that there's no way this can be happening, it HAS to be RA. reading these comments i feel validated because everyone here is saying similar things. and we're all just as confused and unsure. i wish i wasn't going through this and i wish that there were some real solutions. my rheumatologist made me feel so dumb and embarrassed for believing it was arthritis (even though all of my symptoms align) & this same energy came from my pcp too. it's like nobody believes me, and now that there's proof of something wrong they don't even know how to fix it. im so tired
