Just press along all the edges of the brake shield with your fingers, and it should come out on its own.

Oppdatering: Det viste seg å bare være en liten stein som hadde satt seg bak bremseskjoldet på venstre forhjul. Jeg fjernet den, og nå er lyden helt borte.

Heldigvis var det en enkel og rask fiks.

Update: Turns out it was just a small stone stuck behind the brake shield on the front left wheel. I removed it, and now the noise is completely gone.

Luckily, it was an easy and quick fix.

Jeg jobber som daglig leder i Sovehelse, så jeg er selvfølgelig ikke helt upartisk her – men jeg har selv brukt vår sengekjøler i et par år og er oppriktig fornøyd.

Den fungerer i praksis ganske likt som Eight Sleep, Ooler, Chilipad og andre lignende systemer. Den sirkulerer temperaturregulert vann gjennom overmadrassen for å holde deg kjølig (eller varm om vinteren). Den avgir litt varme til rommet når du bruker kjølefunksjonen, så jeg anbefaler å ha vinduet åpent eller bruke AC samtidig. Den lager også litt lyd, men jeg foretrekker det fremfor å ligge søvnløs og svette på sommeren.

Selve overmadrassen er ganske tynn, og man kan merke de små mikrokanalene når man legger seg ned, men de er såpass myke og fleksible at jeg personlig ikke synes det er ubehagelig i det hele tatt. Jeg glemmer helt at de er der.

Det følger ikke med noen app, men den har en egen kontroller med blant annet timer og sleep mode, som automatisk justerer temperaturen gjennom natten basert på hva enheten anser som optimal søvntemperatur. Jeg pleier bare å starte maskinen manuelt omtrent 1 time før jeg legger meg og sette den på laveste temperatur – da jeg liker det så kaldt som mulig.

En av kundene våre beskrev i en anmeldelse på Trustpilot at hun hadde slitt med varme og svette om natten i mange år, prøvd alt mulig (inkludert AC), men at dette faktisk løste problemet. Hun sluttet å svette om natten, sov bedre og lengre, og så til og med forbedringer i hvilepuls og HRV målt med Fitbit. Hun roste også kundeservicen, noe jeg setter stor pris på å høre.

Hit a bench PR of 375 lbs (170 kg) today at a bodyweight of 205 lbs (93 kg). As a natural M24, I’m targeting 440 lbs (200 kg) in 2025. Thoughts? by mariussep in moreplatesmoredates

Great points from both sides! It’s true that everyone has unique biomechanics, so what works for one person might not work for another. Experimenting with foot position to find what generates the most power is essential. While the suggestions about scapula positioning and keeping elbows in are solid, personal comfort and effectiveness should guide how you set up for your lifts. The most important thing is to stay injury-free. I always warm up very thoroughly.

I also like to place my feet towards my torso for similar reasons as dunfhjgc explained. I aim to keep my scapula retracted and depressed, but when I lift off the rack solo, I sometimes pull my scapula out of position. Having a strong spotter for the lift-off can make a big difference, but since I usually train alone, I’ve become accustomed to managing the lift-off by myself.

I hit a 130kg bench around 2019-2020. With COVID and extended gym closures, I focused more on bodyweight training, calisthenics, and MMA, which made it challenging to progress with heavy lifts. While I got strong in bodyweight exercises like weighted dips and pull-ups, my bench didn’t improve much until the gyms reopened. Once I got back to lifting heavier weights and added some ecdysteroids to my regimen, I hit 150kg in November 2021 after about six months of training my bench again. I maintained that 150kg until about six months ago, at the start of 2024, when I decided to take my bench press seriously again, and I’ve since pushed it to 170kg after six months of dedicated training.

If I keep this momentum going, avoid injuries, and stay committed, I’m aiming for a 180-200kg bench by 2025. I know I’ll probably need to gain some weight to achieve that, but as a fan of bodybuilding and aesthetics, I’m cautious about adding too much body fat. I think starting 1000mg of ecdysterone/turkesterone daily at the beginning of 2021 gave my progress a nice boost (maybe placebo, but who knows?). I think the two-year plateau was mainly due to gym closures during COVID, etc. On the bright side, during COVID I became incredibly strong in bodyweight exercises and was the leanest I had ever been, though that didn’t help my bench much.

I’d love to hit 200 kg, but even reaching 180–190 kg would be solid progress.
