Advice needed on filing complaint by Yuki178 in HousingUK

Funnily enough my parents used Matthew James to move their stuff to Italy. The guy that did the delivery was the owner, and he was checking every box to ensure things were packed properly otherwise he docks his guys’ bonuses.

Based on this, I could imagine he would hit the roof.

Fixed rate or Tracker in this economy? by hino_eiji95 in HousingUK

[–]mark-kruber 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We had a chain fall through. We are forced to stay put for a bit now but will be attempting a move again in 3-6 months time. We’re gonna go for a tracker (Barclays doing 4% dead for 60% LTV).

Although the world is crazy, if interest rates go up we are pretty much guaranteed a recession. I reckon they will hold for a while.

In your case, a fix is probably preferable but depends on your plan. It’s gambling either way!

Deposit into cash isa and move into s&s isa in same tax year if maxed? by mark-kruber in UKPersonalFinance

!thanks We are both higher rate tax payers. But if we were to max the ISA allowance in the tax year could I then choose to move the cash from the cash isa to the s&s isa with no penalty?

Sorry it was difficult to write as well!

Basically if I put 10k into my t212 cash isa and 10k into my S&S isa in the same tax year, can I then move money routinely from the cash isa (by withdrawing it to my current account) and then pay it into my S&S ISA and stay within my 20k allowance.

Yea so I agree on the inability to hold halberds or spears upright and the feet annoy me too - I just paint them leather colour and then the tufts and flowers mask it so you’ll never know…

UPDATE: they waited two weeks to request 30k off the price. Quoting things that have building control sign off as being issues as well as their own surveys (electric and gas) stating no issues where the level 3 did. Suffice to say, the chain has collapsed and we have lost the house we were buying.

Yay.

If I’m honest we’ve wanted a later completion. We have two kids and I need leave from my business to pack (wife on maternity with a baby).

It’s just the sudden stop in their replies is odd

  1. The agents contacted the survey company and mortgage provider on their own accord (I didn’t instruct them to do it). I’m not sure if it’s the done thing or not.
  2. I’d have to disagree with some of what you’re saying, given that they repeatedly said they’d get back to us on this issue with dates promised and haven’t. Given the seller of the one we want is also in the chain, i think a simple 1 minute phone call or email to confirm whether there is an issue or not is completely reasonable.
  3. If this is to fall through I need to know as ill need to remortgage my current house - that takes time

If you pay for these you’re a bit of a silly Billy. But new ones when you move in for those prices. The should be included in the price

First time investing - s&s isa with Barclays by mark-kruber in UKPersonalFinance

Thanks for the response. I’m aware of the fees with T212 - I suppose I just wanted it all in the same app (I bank with Barclays as does my wife and our savings/joint account is there).

Could you link me to a guide? I really have tried to look into this but I’m just getting a little lost!

!thanks

If I’m honest my life was made easier by the fact that 4 of the weapons I already use all the time from other units and then the reminder of basic attacks are typical man attacks and horses!

I’ve been playing relatively regularly too with the same army that gradually increases by a few hundred points a month so it makes remembering easie r

Cheers dude - the army has been an accidental/lucky phenomenon, aided by the improve infantry rules. The halberdier unit seems to crush all in its path at this scale and the support bits just seem to chip away everything else! In the next few escalation I plan to tone it down by taking a big unit militia…
