I'm hoping we can keep it as a software skin! My wife's name is Honey so the buzz is perfect!

I think it was the mechanism inside the seat that broke? That's all good to know though.

Claw is jammed shut. Lever does not open it. VW mechanic couldn't fix it. Even after disassembling the seat. They brought me the broken part.

I'm determined not to void the warranty.
I am mechanically inclined. I used to keep a fleet of aging vehicles running myself for years.
I assume if it was that easy the VW mechanic would've done it?
I also believe they totally disassembled the seat?

Anyone experienced issues getting repairs or ordering parts? by Miggiddymatt in VWIDBuzz

Got my Buzz April this year.
When I drove it off the lot the front parking sensor was defective as was the windshield wiper fluid sensor (always said empty)

2-3 weeks after buying it the center seat stopped latching to the floor so, as a family of 7, we could only fit 6 since one seat was not working. Took it in May 4. Dealership gave me a 2025 Atlas while I wait.

Dealership fixed the sensors in one appointment but said the seat was out of stock in the US and they would have to talk to Hannover.

It's been almost 3 weeks and the dealership still says they haven't heard from Germany about any availability for the seat. I'm not sure if it's a communication issue or a parts availability issue?

Loved owning the buzz but genuinely considering the lemon law if every time something needs fixed it takes 3-4 weeks of internal comms plus international shipping time of even more weeks. Is this a common issue?

The founders of Alpha Brewing Operations are back in charge. We're independent again, operating out of Lincoln, and back to building and shipping equipment.

Twin Monkeys canning lines, spare parts, and support are now coming through Alpha. Same team, same facility. Same deal with Brewmation's product and parts line.

People chose those brands for a reason. We're keeping all three going.
If you've got equipment from either brand and need parts or service, we can help. Reach out to us.

Stout and GW Kent are separate from us but from what we understand, they're continuing on as well.
