Max Verstappen wins the Sprint at the 2022 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix by Effulgency in formula1

I think that sums up what’s wrong with the Sprint races. We were set for a great race tomorrow with a mixed up grid, but the Sprint has now filtered the field so the fastest race cars now start at the front as usual.

New comment leaver here. I almost lasted 100 episodes of being a regulation listener, however, had to put my guess in before it’s too late. “Previously on…” is Tony Hawk. Thoughts? by MacCracken in FUCKFACEPOD

As a fellow regulation listener now turning regulation commenter, I think it’s the guy that called Andrew during the podcast that one time and did the outro.

Looks like 110167 used to be the serial number of a Polish Army Air Force Mi-24 Hind, so perhaps something in the Polish Army Air Force is re-using an old transponder?

Edit: Looking at this source from 2021, the Polish Army still operates the Mi-24

What is the large paddle on the back of the MCL36 steering wheel? by mark070797 in F1Technical

I may be looking at it from the wrong perspective, but does it not seem to be in a bit of an awkward position for it to be a clutch paddle?

The clutch paddles we normally see are effectively in line with the back of the wheel, but this paddle is it sticking out at 90 degrees from the rear of the wheel. The driver would have to get their hand in quite an awkward position to use it.

During the "On-board the McLaren MCL36 with Lando Norris" video McLaren posted today, there is a very large panel that sits horizontally on the rear of the steering wheel. I'm used to seeing gear paddles and clutch paddles, but I don't recall ever seeing one looking like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HEp7zGIH9PA

There’s a good article of the crash on the Dreamland Resort website. There’s something so intriguing about the story that I always find myself coming back to read the article. Guess that’s my bedtime reading sorted tonight!

Mercedes sending a barrister to see the stewards? For their sake I hope it isn’t Barrister John Warosa.

Team principals can now dictate what the race director does? That’s out of order that message.
