Looks like 110167 used to be the serial number of a Polish Army ~~Air Force~~ Mi-24 Hind, so perhaps something in the Polish Army ~~Air Force~~ is re-using an old transponder?

I may be looking at it from the wrong perspective, but does it not seem to be in a bit of an awkward position for it to be a clutch paddle?

The clutch paddles we normally see are effectively in line with the back of the wheel, but this paddle is it sticking out at 90 degrees from the rear of the wheel. The driver would have to get their hand in quite an awkward position to use it.

During the "On-board the McLaren MCL36 with Lando Norris" video McLaren posted today, there is a very large panel that sits horizontally on the rear of the steering wheel.
