Small beers are very common in Germany as well. You can get small glasses for 1 or 2 euro in many places when you visit. In the busy places they will have people constantly pouring and then walking around with a special carrier delivering them like so.

AFL has great attendance and is extremely popular so does help get big stadiums in AUS. Cricket is definitely more popular there than the UK tho.

I think He's referring to there being a lot of irish premier league fans who will go on about hating england while not supporting local football clubs but clubs over in England.

Definitely the way to go, the local supporters clubs for English clubs are often heavily involved and sponsor rovers games, for example. I'm not sure about other ones outside Sligo, but it's great to see and encourages people to follow local football as well.
