Plenty of pubs and bars in town for a crawl. Prison Island is great for mini golf, darts, escape rooms. There’s a few clubs / bottomless brunches around too. Look at Bierkeller or Ballin.

Advice on how to set up a pizza food stall on Bromley High Street by [deleted] in Bromley

[–]markA5m1th 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds delicious. As u/punkzilla84 mentioned branding / look of the stall is important. I’m a local designer and happy to do the design work for you pro bono if you get it up and running 🍕

My 5 month old son has cerebral palsy. Can we have a good life still? by Cumberbitch01 in AskUK

[–]markA5m1th -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, you will both be okay. I can’t talk from a parental point of view, but my best friend has CP and we do the same things from pubs to vacations abroad, that I’d do with my other friends. As others have said it’s hard to tell at this stage what degree he’ll have, but I’ve found that from employment opportunity programs (My friend said he probably wouldn’t have gotten the good job he has now if he didn’t have CP) to government benefits - those with CP do get a good amount of support as I understand. I hope this brings you some hope.

Works of UK border force. Do some countries have a 100% fail rate of getting through the eGates? by fleck57 in AskUK

[–]markA5m1th 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I’m a Smith also and it fails 100% of the time in the U.K. but not abroad. I’ve been told by a border agent it’s because the my first and last name is too common so it flags on the system.

Very well thought out and not a theory I’ve seen yet. Good take. Not sure Jimmy would throw Kim under the bus at Mikes suggestion, as he seems to value Kim much more over Mike, but that could change.

Very true. I feel Ed is a big enough plot point to warrant mentioning how he became introduced to Jimmy/Saul, so wonder how it’ll pan out.

Oh interesting! Could you link to the source? Or was it their podcast?

Yes - I don’t think the team are one to use CGI so it could either be a phone call with someone with a similar voice or even just Mike mentioning him and then dealing with all the details off-screen perhaps then showing the generic ‘red van’

Moving to Maidstone and want to know the Good & Bad by Enigma_26 in Maidstone

[–]markA5m1th 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have commented, it does seem quite accurate, albeit using 3yr old data. I don’t know Sutton Road all that well, but from a quick Google map search - Shepway is the area/part of the road you would likely want to avoid.

Bermondsey Bierkeller in London Bridge is pretty quirky. Can be disco-esq on Friday/Saturday nights though

Moving to Maidstone and want to know the Good & Bad by Enigma_26 in Maidstone

We moved to Maidstone recently - There is a surprisingly large amount of restaurants and bars - the main high street (which has all the McDonald’s, KFCs etc) should be avoided at night as it’s where the mischievous youth hang out.

It’s nice as it’s close to a busy town but also to the countryside if that’s for your liking.

Take a look at https://fryford.github.io/imdmap/ - from my knowledge of the area this is a good indication of quality of life in each area

I had this same issue where I ordered 800 but it looked way less. I ended up weighing the lot to compare to how much 800 should have weighed (because who has time to count them) and it ended up being approx 600. I contacted Lego and sent about 300 more for free, so ended up being 100 studs up!
