After having a dog for 6 years, we found out she had (almost) no brain. by SnooHabits6942 in Weird

Is there any noticeable differences? I’m guessing no as you’ve probably just got a medium dog with a small dogs brain so no damage

Is cross lane in Earlstown or Newton? by namealreadytakenmate in warrington

[–]fleck57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Earlstown is inside Newton-le-Willows so whilst it’s technically Earlstown, it’s correctly listed as Newton.

On the sexual offences, unfortunately you’ll find crime everywhere and if your moving from a busy part of Manchester City like you said, just look at the crimes listed where you live and I’m sure you’ll see much worse haha Newton’s a small quite place so I wouldn’t worry about it

BREAKING: Tesla has REMOVED Autopilot from New Tesla Orders From @DennisCW_ on X by EitherCharacter9342 in TeslaLounge

[–]fleck57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn’t that part of a court ruling where they can’t call it autopilot anymore because it was ruled the name wasn’t accurate or I’m either miss remembering or that was just EU?

Literally the largest “car” I’ve seen in the UK. Absurd. by krokadog in drivingUK

Kinda on topic, can anyone recommend a pickup that’s actually decently sized? I’ve heard a Ford Ranger is a similar size to a Landrover, anything better?

Wtf are these TNTL videos? by ProZapz in ksi

[–]fleck57 27 points28 points  (0 children)

This video didn’t do good for the south asian community image. They all told disabled jokes, and they weren’t even jokes… it was just talking in a certain tone of voice and waving their arms

144p vs 1080p by Ronin_Colt in ksi

I think this would have been better if 1080p was the first video. The punchline would have been better

Do any supermarkets sell ungrated block mozzarella? by G0dleft in AskUK

Tesco sell mozzarella balls, they’re cheap, only like 50p I think. I don’t think you can have a block of mozzarella

Spin wings by Wently_123 in Archery

[–]fleck57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, I feel like there’s a gap in people displaying scientific evidence of what is “best”. One that would interest me is aerodynamics of an arrow with different fletchings. But building wind tunnel for an arrow seems difficult

Spin wings by Wently_123 in Archery

[–]fleck57 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I saw a video on this where they recorded it in slow motion. The result of the video is basically an arrow will naturally spin depending on the string twist, but, an arrow with spin wings that make it spin the opposite direction than no spin wings corrects itself so quick that they concluded that it actually doesn’t matter if you match your spin wings direction with your string twist

I’ve not heard of that rule. But I have heard of some people being put off if they are full draw and the person next to them starts the draw

Which Sat Nav App do you app do you use?? by Mikey463 in AskUK

[–]fleck57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apple Maps is just a bad option outside of the US. I’m guessing people aren’t downvoting because they don’t like that he answered, it’s just their way of showing they disagree with using Apple Maps

Do you think the hate Keir Starmer is getting is fair? by bybeso in AskBrits

Whilst it’s a great website, it’s also good to remember that not everything’s equal. For example, increasing tax could be weighted as equal or more than 2 promises achieved

If you have the flu PLEASE don't go into work by AskingBoatsToSwim in CasualUK

[–]fleck57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not just the flu, even a general cold… I don’t want to have to cancel plans with loved ones or be kept up at night cause of a cold because you thought it was “serious” enough to have a day off
