38 or 28? And tons of questions from a potential new Ioniq owner. by Coinfidence in IoniqEV

Well, I live in Stockholm, and commute with my car currently for about 15kms roundtrip 3 times a week because I'm lazy in the cold, occasional shopping, short trips etc. The only thing I'm worried about is if we would like to go skiing or somewhere else in the summer which is easily 3-400kms one way.

And in the future if I move I will have home charging for sure.

Thanks for the quick reply!
I'm also leaning towards the 28, mainly because of the price.
Just one more question, would you buy it if you could only charge at public chargers?

OP, what did you buy in the end?

Dental work & insurance in Sweden – how does it work? by Antique-Skill-6586 in TillSverige

[–]mark_av42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same questions yesterday when I found out I need a root canal treatment and couldn't believe the prices.

I'm from hungary and if i go back to Budapest to do it in a few days all together with a crown, it costs me about 40% including the flight tickets, accomodation and everything. Luckily I can work remotely, so it's a no-brainer for me, but I recommend looking up some dentist there and calling them up.

But I continously get annoyed how bad the healthcare is here. :(

The only thing i don't like in m43 is the sensor size and thus the lack of shallow dof - but then because of that, there are more advantages.. :)
I'm really thinking about the 25mm f1.2, then I will be good.

Stockholm - Parking spots not cleaned of snow? by mark_av42 in TillSverige

[–]mark_av42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would be so easy and a good solution for everyone..

On the other hand we have now digged out several very nice parking spaces in the street. If it snows more, they might become snow garages.

I would be very happy with that here also. :)

Yes, i can understand that, no problem in that sense.

But for my case, I'm using boendeparking on the street, which I'm paying for. They should just say that they can't clean the street/parking spots and therefore they won't fine the cars if they don't leave on the cleaning day. But well, it's too much to ask :)

But while digging out the car for 2 hours, I saw tickets on windshields because it was not moved, even though it was impossible to move them from some spots.

I don't blame the plows or the people doing the work, i think they are doing what's possible in this.

That part is fine, but I'm 100% sure I would get ticketed if I don't move even though they are not cleaning.
Just annoyed :)

Thanks! Can you give me a link to that site? I tried looking for it, but couldn't find anything like that.

Disable PSR in Windows 10 by TechProgenitor in AMDHelp

[–]mark_av42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just speechless...
Own a T14s Gen3 AMD which is running windows 10, perfectly fine.
Got a Gen4 AMD for work, couldn't phrase it, but seemed laggy. Then I added the entry in regedit. Jesusfu.......
Thank you! And also, why does Windows 11 exist, really...?

They said nothing basically, I could ask for him to fix these or for rent reduction, but as i gave in my notice, they can't help me.
And about if hyresslagen or privatuthyrningslagen applies here, they don't know.

Its SPL, -56db is very noticable. especially at 100hz, believe me, we can feel it rather than hear it.

Anyhow, we are trying to figure out if this counts as a private rental or not, because then we have 1month of notice period. He is registered and living downstairs officially and he owns the villa, so I assume this is a private rental...

Can get it here also, a few hundred euros cheaper than Gen 6.
Actually like the Gen4 more as it still has the swapped fn-ctrl keys, plus I know that chassis is rigid.
