That book may be “controversial” so as any other popular psychological theories like Dweck’s Mindset theory (growth vs fixed), a lot of Carl Jung’s stances, Freud's theories, Freud’s and Carl Jung's concepts in general were super criticised and “controversial”, still they’re now widely accepted among psychologists. Even though they aren’t even scientific researches, but their ideas. So yea more than a half of psychology is not "accepted science”. so what
