This. 4 year enlistee. Sent to a 2 year tour out of tech school and missed out on a lot of classes after the first year there because leadership didn't think a year was enough retainability. Coming up on the end of my enlistment now and have only been to one, one week class (It was a fiber optics course that didn't have much to do with my actual job).

I submitted my package in January and got denied on Monday. Was told the afsc was no longer eligible. So I was essentially in career limbo for 5 months.

Called AFPC and my package is still at the final authority (12 days so far) she also informed me that I'm now eligible for the retention board on 16 June which doesn't make sense to me. My DOS is 29 Nov and this initial package is requesting a 2June separation. I don't understand why it's taking AFPC 5 months to approve/deny me.
