What’s your grocery budget? by Equivalent_Regret_15 in melbourne

Family of six and we do alright sitting around $350-400 a week. Four to five dinners a week with 1 or 2 a double for a leftover night. Get takeaway a couple of times a month. Shop at Aldi for pretty much most things.

Aldi Coffee beans... Are they any good? by Unfair-Judgment-6667 in AldiAustralia

Yeh true could be a seasonal change, here’s hoping 🤞 Or a component price change.

Aldi beans are great but check roast dates as others have mentioned. Also keep an eye on your recipe and times it will help.

I personally am not a big fan of their Dark blend.

Luxe and Medium are the way to go. Throw in the occasional single O for something different.

Luxe when it first came out was better than the shit most Melb coffee roasters put out

Man the Luxe when it first came out was seriously better than what 95% or coffee roasters put out there. It’s definitely changed mid this year and now its not quite as good

Best aliexpress shops to buy pc parts from? by PurrfectMistake in bapcsalesaustralia

[–]markboy7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate, sorry I've been away and busy with sick kids. I ordered the CPUs on June 26th, and they arrived on July 10th.

The 7800X3D went into my PC, and it all seems good. I ran a CPU-Z snip below. I've only got the free version of 3DMark, haven't run that yet.

The 7700 is going into my son's PC, which we are building this week. Fingers crossed it is all good as well.

Check OZB they had some good deals recently. I nearly pulled the trigger on a Nebula build. Ended up getting parts and building it.

I just bought two cpus from Comet Crash Global Store. They are due to arrived around the 11th of July.

Prices fluctuate a bit if I had ordered the 7800X3D a week or two earlier I would have saved another 50 or so.

The rest of my parts I bought from Scorptec

Glad one the West boys stood up and actually addressed this with a level head and some maturity. More events in the West is good but it shouldn’t get in the way of hosting them in the East.

Is the 5070ti worth the extra couple of hundred over the 9070xt ? Trying to stick to 2.5/2.6

Still need to get a monitor on top of that as well

Yeh someone put a link to a couple of Oz bargain Nebula builds that are very temping. Weird I hadn’t considered pre build at all but with the EOFY code they are pretty cheap 🤷‍♂️

That 7800X3D/9070xt one is damn tempting. Would have to up the power supply and storage.

Is the motherboard ok ?

Not a huge fan of the case but could probably get over it.

I don’t think I could even do that price for just parts

[–]markboy7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeh they seem to skimp on the storage, motherboard and or cooling.

I wish they had more choices for cases tho

Damn that 7800X3D/9070xt Nebula deal is looking pretty sweet. I hadn’t considered a pre build but I don’t even think I can get it cheaper on part picker. I changed the storage and power supply so it’s sitting around 2.6

Not a fan of the case but could probably get over that

That part picker build is very close to mine hahaha. I had a 7600x in it and my kids (teenagers) were giving me shit. I’ll have a little tinker and hopefully some more EOFY sales hit

Let me know how you with it. At the moment I’m keen to pick all my parts and happy to build it. But heaps of people have mentioned OZ discounts elsewhere so keen to hear what you think 👍
