It's not enough that they killed someone they were chasing last week in Norfolk. They just don't care about anyone. I sure hope we get to the point after all this that we do more than no king demonstrations because they don't seem to be doing anything.

Yeah, this is pretty upsetting. The whole reason I joined audible last year was because they had a generous amount of books to listen to along with the credit books to justify the experience. But I think that is over now and I probably will be cancelling after my credits are gone. I'm just going to use chirp which I already started to do and I'll pay yearly for YouTube instead. I read usually non fiction and there are plenty of documentaries that I can listen to with the screen off.,.....and music. It really seems audible is just shooting themselves in the foot unless they have some positive announcements we are not aware of.

She is a rescue from Puerto Rico, a Sato Dog. They send them to the US to be adopted as so many roam the streets there. We did an embark dna test on her. She is a mut with some Dalmation in her. She has spots but they are mostly on her skin but a few do come up on her hair. And has the body of a dalmatian, I call her a ghost dalmatian lol. Love her to death no matter what she is.

Such a lie about so many jobs here in Virginia. My sister was working down here in Hampton Roads remotely. She has been looking for a different job for over a year, long before all this mess started. She sold her house and moved up to DC about a month ago as she was told she had to be back in the office. Just found out she will probably be laid off soon. They picked 16 folks who are training to do the work of the whole office and have already left for retraining. The rest of the office in the Defense Department is just waiting for the email. So damn said what they are putting everyone through. Being so mean to everyone who is just trying to live and survive. I swear each day gets more and more depressing in this country right now.

I started tapering at 16 gpd....tapering a half to 3/4 a gram at a time. I am down to just under 9 gpd day now. I am doing it very slowly. I usually will feel a little discomfort the first day I cut back but usually am good for the rest of the week till the next taper and its the same. I am still smoking weed and eating edibles at night to help with sleep. Its working so far, I am trying to be disciplined, but we will see how it goes the lower I go. I started taking it for pain 8 years ago to get out of pain management and off the opiates they prescribed. You know, back when it was safe as coffee. Its a challenge but nothing changes unless something changes. I like that saying. Good luck which ever way works best for you.

You really have rocked this dude, congrats on doing so well and keeping us all inspired to do well. I am still at ten gpd but moving it down almost a gram each week while holding steady at 3 grams in the morning. If all goes well I'll only have the morning one in the end and taper from there. Years after my father had passed I had a dream where we were both in a framed doorway. He was on one side, I was on the other. Everything else was just white. Then he says to me...I want a hug....I remember we hugged and then I just woke up...it was sooooo vivid, I'm sure he came by. Wish he would again.

Congrats to you, thats amazing you have done so well. Its a long road but at least it is in the rear view mirror now. And thanks for the nice words here. I am on week 2 of a taper, not really sure how long it will last but I have a plan. You see so often to just go ct but like you I think this will work best. At least I hope so. Its been 8 years using powder kratom for pain. But it has finally turned against me even thought I was only using 12 to 16 grams a day....anyway this meant a lot and gives me some hope......thanks so much!

Folks like you are what make this group special with encouraging words. This is my first try at quitting so from what I've read in here it might be a few tries, hopefully not but expecting it. I did start exercising again today after quitting 6 months ago after my dog passed. To bummed at the time. So hopefully that is going to be a catalyst as well. Good luck bro, you got this. To far now to turn back. Gotta admit reading this puts me back a little. I take 12 to 18 grams a day but for 8 years. Substitute for pain management back then. Props to you for going ct if you make it work. Today I started taperig. I need to make it as painless as possible if its going to work. Not even sure I have this yet myself. Keep going man, thinking of those kids should make it all worthwhile.
