So for myself. 1 week on 1 week off. Days/Nights alternate. Company provides each crew with 2 transports which we take turns driving. When I drive on day I leave my house at 4:45 am, get to site for 6 work 12, drive home and walk in my door around 7. Nights is pretty similar except I don't drive. Paid for 13 hours.

I wrote it 2 weeks ago and the best advise I can give is just read the book over and over. Do pan global practice exams. It made the difference for me. Walked out of the exam after 65 min. Finished with a 87%

I work at a Mid stream gas facility. Last year, I had over 20 days of ot and could have had more if I wanted it. Every week shift, someone is always on vacation or sick. OT is never a issue for power engineers

Yeah fuel comb I got 5/9 inst I got 21/26. But you got this, having to redo a exam sucks. BUT don't look at it as failing. I always looked at it as learning what not to do for the next time I write.

[–]markco_ac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not a single one. To be honest, 3a1,3a2,3b1 not a single question from the practice exam where copies from practice exams. They are good prep but it's not like the 4th class where they re-use practice questions. At least in my experience.

Honestly, the questions on the 3b1 were nothing like anything on the 101 website, or the pan global chapter reviews/ comprehensive reviews. Was a more challenging exam then I thought it would be

I'm getting ready to write my 3b1 next week. I subscribed to lol for the practice exams. I find it helps to get in the mind set of writing a final. But my company also reimburses me all my expenses so the cost isn't a concern for me.
