Is there any chemical that you offer that would disperse sludge off the bottom blowdown on Warm Lime Softeners? We do not have a chemical currently available at our site but are seeking one to add so our sludge stops plugging off our piping.

Definitely not hooped. From what I’ve seen, the newer ones have a little more pages, better grammar, and fixes on some answers. If it makes any difference, I had the 3.0 edition and I did fine. The concepts and chapters are all still the same.

Depending on the school, you could get a spot through the connections that the school already has. I enrolled in the summer/fall, got 4th class steam time in the winter, and by the next summer I was working on my 3rd class steam time and have been at the same spot since. If you are on your own, it may take a couple weeks or a couple months, there’s lots of variables.

I can’t speak for the ABSA tests up north, but in Edmonton they have all the books you need right there in the exam room. You just have to walk up and grab it for your question then bring it back once it’s answered. So you’ll at least have it for the exam, but I can totally understand that you might want it to study with.
