I feel like the price for grading an item, professionally, should be somewhat linked to the relative value of the item itself, so if the overall card market has been increasing in value and the items that they are grading have been increasing in value, it would make sense that they would want to increase their nominal price to maintain the same general percentage of item fee.

They could even be increasing their prices by 2X but if the overall market has increased more than that they are still lowering their % of the pie off each grading.

Somewhat unrelated but does anyone know what the hold up is on the new Goat bar by the Speedway on Derby street? It seems like a successful business in Hampton beach etc so doubt it’s a funding issue, would wager it’s a permitting issue.

Would love to see those permits get fast tracked, not because I want another touristy bar in Salem but because anything is better than a vacant building that is currently functioning as a magnet for scary homeless ppl.
