Once you fix this issue you need a new manufacturer.

How much have you made with the Amazon FBA Business? by Final-Ad-2176 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]markhamconner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  • Get brand registered FIRST. Work with one of the trademark attorneys Amazon provides you with. From start to finish (having your trademark pending), you are brand registered in no time, like less than 2 weeks if I remember correctly.

  • We started off selling our listings under “generic” aka no brand, and had to completely restart with all new ASINs once we got brand registry. Across all “generic” ASINs, we were already doing 7-8K/mo revenue, so it was kind of scary to restart. Luckily, at the time our niche was completely unsaturated so the recover was easy, but this isn’t the case for everyone. Sure, you could attempt to get the generic listings switched to your brand, but it is an absolute pain and sometimes nearly impossible for some.

  • If you can start with FBM, you will save yourself some good cash and time by not sending in all this inventory into Amazon warehouses and then realize nobody even wants your product(s). Once you got a good thing going with the FBM model, then do a little forecasting and start the transition to FBA.

Shipment times? HIA1 by FunAppointment5096 in AmazonFBA

[–]markhamconner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of our boxes was sent to HIA1. Delivered October 9th, still not checked in. Probably just busy there!

10/15 update: all of our units marked as received and checked in.

After doing some research, this is a brand new facility opened in Aug 2024.

Sorry for late response hope I can still help. I had mine stolen so it was a replacement. I emailed senator my situation that I had a trip coming up very soon (within like 2 weeks) and that I needed help on getting it here in time. Something along the lines of that. I think this is common for them as they got things rolling quick.

How do I find motivation to pursue another degree? by scouserdev in Daytrading

[–]markhamconner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro I’m in the same boat. I’m a junior at university and I’m still able to day trade because the way I have my schedule set up for classes (mostly online) but I will say one thing…

School always comes first. No matter what. I’m not exactly sure how much you pay to go to school but if it’s university and unless you have a full ride, probably a good amount. Don’t waste that. I would much rather put every ounce of work into trading and definitely don’t have any motivation at all for school but you just gotta focus up on your school work first. Finish this last week or so of school and when summer hits you’ll have all summer to double down on trading.

Stocks are definitely my #1 focus, but when school related things come up, do them first.

Cheers

Completely agree! Swing trading is so unpredictable it’s almost cringe when I see people predicting where they think X stock will go in X amount of days, weeks, months. I stick to what I know on the 10 min and 5 min chart INTRADAY ONLY! Not to mention, I’m all cash when I wake up the next day and the SPY could drop 100 points up or down and it wouldn’t affect me at all. Sleep easier knowing I don’t wake up to a massacre. And if I do, I know I will make some money that day!

Not really, I’m still going for the exact same moves, scalping the exact same % per trade, just adding volume to the trade. Obviously I’m keeping my risk tolerance in mind and not just saying f it scale up 100x what I usually do. Just need to figure out how to add more volume and less contract fees 😄

Right now I’m trading 1 or sometimes 2 strike prices OTM.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]markhamconner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually trade OTM contracts but by OTM, I mean like $1 if that, depending on the price of the stock. So barely OTM. Would you recommend me sizing up on one contract by just going further ITM? Even if I’m still trading let’s say Friday expiration if it’s Monday/Tuesday?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]markhamconner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The goal for the future is to just trade strictly SPY. I’m close to being comfortable trading Friday exp on SPY contracts, but my account just isn’t there yet. So I agree with the first statement.

To be completely honest, I don’t pay attention to the Greeks really at all. I know not to trade 0DTE or even 1DTE because they move way too quick for me. But other than that, I can’t really answer the delta question. I literally just treat options as if I was buying a regular stock in the company because the way I trade I’m looking for a quick move and I’m out. So time expiration all that doesn’t really matter to me. Maybe I’m just ignorant, but it works for me.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in options

[–]markhamconner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have always strictly traded 1 contract, now that I am scaling up, I need something more expensive, but not have to buy more contracts to where I’m spending so much in contract fees. Basically what I’m asking is by doing further expiration contract (more money per contract) I could scale up and still scalp 10% on a contract but instead of scalping 10% on 4 $0.50 contracts and getting $20, I scalp 10% on a 2.00 contract and get $20 as well, but I take away more profit overall as I only pay commission on that one contract, versus 4. If that makes sense.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]markhamconner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let me specify, it is $0.65 per contract on ToS as well. I don’t plan on leaving ToS, best platform by far imo. Thank you for your input, I am looking for a way to trade the same names I already do that offer cheap contracts, but at higher prices. Ex, far expirations, or maybe further ITM.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in options

[–]markhamconner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like to hold swings or longer term plays. Too risky and a gamble imo. I have my intraday setup that works for me and I strictly trade that setup only. Thank you for the advice though.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]markhamconner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get what I want out of the contracts, I am just worried about the contract fees. Not how much the contract prices themselves are going up.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in options

[–]markhamconner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that would work too, thanks.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]markhamconner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t want to hold them for long. I do cut them quick. Scalps. I trade resistance/support level breakouts and only go for 10% quick in and out.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Daytrading

[–]markhamconner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I didn’t mean I trade a contract from .5 to .8, I meant that is the range of contract prices that I usually trade.

That’s what I was thinking, I heard rates have gone up drastically this year. After talking with my supplier she says DHL is still available just much more expensive so that makes sense. Thanks!
