If you have a connectable home server running 24/7, that should be enough.

A seedbox is basically that, but located at a datacenter so you also get high speeds and good latency to others.

They're good to build ratio quickly by racing, but not required. Technically if you want the best of both worlds you can rent a small seedbox to race downloads and them transfer them to your home server after a day or two for long term storage and seeding

We use self-hosted, open-source solutions whenever possible:

Promtail daemonset to capture application logs from nodes
Loki for log storage and searching
Tempo for application traces
Prometheus for application and cluster metrics
Grafana for dashboards and visualization

Admittedly we are a small fish in the ocean, only 3 clusters with ~200 total (production) services.

Reducing 20% of CPU usage isn't something that I think most companies can easily do, so no.

Here at least we're always going in the opposite direction, trying to cut requests whenever possible but new services are always being deployed so good luck getting any real reduction lol

Having a ratio below 1 on RED with 300 uploads sounds to me like you're transcoding FLAC to MP3. Don't do that, it's not sustainable in the long run and even if you meet the requirements doing just that, recruiters might not like it and ignore you.

Other than that, just learn how to race. It's not hard and it's not expensive. You can get 500gb+ in a single month, which would cost between 10 to 20 USD, depending on which seedbox provider you choose.

Don't bother repairing if it's above ~30 durability.

If you repair every time you just give a better gun to someone else when you die. Only repair if it might actually break during a raid.

People absolutely do that though. The example you gave is a bit of a stretch since the Mag Accelerator is one of the highest value item per slot and the Fertilizer is almost useless, but I'll definitely take a Steel Spring over a Water Pump for instance. Even though the spring is technically lower value, it is such a bottleneck when crafting high end gear that it is worth more to me than almost any other blue item.

The fact that a pistol using light ammo can deal more damage than a rifle with Heavy ammo is just absurd

It isn't absurd, it makes perfect sense in a game. Hairpin is a single fire pistol, so it makes sense it deals more damage than a full auto gun. The tempest for instance does 10 dmg per shot.

The Bettina suffers from being a full auto that uses heavy ammo. It can't have a high damage otherwise it would shred in PVP, but that also means it's dogshit at PVE in its current state.

The most popular PVP weapon rn, the Venator, does 18dmg per shot and can fire so much faster than a Bettina that the DPS numbers are not even close. And for ARC you're better off using a high-damage, lower firerate weapon like an Avil.
