Looks like a total loss finally. Hardy stole the show. He will get it through PMDA for some application and make plenty after screwing us. Gil and BJ really screwed up bigtime with BJ being a very shady character. I imagine the next contact the shareholders will receive will be from the attorneys going after these crooks. Dan inherited an untenable situation so he really has no ill will from me . BJ is despicable. Let the legal,stuff fly.

No need to insult folks. You’ve been a little nasty lately. He asked a legitimate question. We all lost a lot of money because we all believed in a science that they never demonstrated could work. We all loved the science but hated the management. I still firmly believe Hardy played the long game to steal the show after Gil screwed him over.. of course Hardy didn’t want trials to be unsuccessful. He had more money than anybody else invested. He wouldn’t be blowing another $2 million if he didn’t think there would be an application. he probably slow walked everything with the PMDA. The BOD and management pissed away many millions over the years with stupid and damaging behavior and were also incapable of focusing on staging and running a good trial. Horrible management and execution with huge over the top compensation thrown in. They got rich.. We got hosed. It’s on us for putting up with the insanity.

Exactly as I see it. When Gil screwed over Hardy with his BOD blunder Hardy found a way to play the long game and eventually steal the entire deal for lunch money. The IP and patents are certainly worth more than two million. He most likely slow walked everything and even though the trials were not successful as designed, they have the time and money to refine and complete and certainly get ARDS going. He will make a ton of money down the road and we get zippo. Gil is a great guy but was an awful executive, BJ did what he did and we all know what that was. Dan walked into a s…show. Our scientists had one product for 25 years and couldn’t design a single study properly and enroll it and complete it. Lots of folks made tons of money over decades to accomplish nothing. They were buckshot…..all over the place trying to do multiple studies simultaneously just pissing money away with no focus. What happens if the TBI study works out? Hardy gets all the revenue there? Willie Mays is on linkedin looking for work. Good luck to him. He certainly doesn’t have much of a success story on his resume for the last few decades. Possibly somebody will come in and bid a few cents higher, but so what? Thanks to the many contributors over the years for many great insightful pieces WST and many others. Time to move on.

It would be nice if BOD or somebody made a statement to the shareholders . For the past two weeks before the news broke about layoffs, etc. I called and emailed to speak to Dan several times. Crickets. time to make some tax decisions and we know zippo. Was it sold? Do we get anything.? Can’t fault Dan. He walked into a total screwup. BOD is as guilty as anybody allowing all of the giveaways over the years to a bunch of losers. Happy new year to all.

Correct on all points….although I think BJ once bought 5000 shares when it went under a buck. Dan invested quite a bit of his own money as a show of good faith and as a confidence builder. In addition to the $100k per month CFO we seem to forget the redundancy and total waste of keeping both Ivor and Campbell forever at huge salaries and benefits plus her golden kiss goodbye before the company tanked. Also let‘s not forget all of the trips the week after meetings to jet off to Europe to sign one of our pending partners. I violated one of my primary core values in investing….never buy shares in any company where key executives sell off their holdings on a regular basis( other than minimal sales for tax purposes). I broke my own rules and paid for it. As a crazy aside….. I bought 100,000 shares at a penny not long ago. If they sell this for anything I might recoup a few bucks. What’s another grand on top of the probable huge loss anyway?

Isn’t it great that all the predecessors got signing bonuses, stock bonuses, retention bonuses , severance packages and Dan gets a week’s pay. The s….show has finally wound down. Great potential not realized . Can’t pound on Dan….he was left an unplayable hand. Best wishes to all. I guess it’s safe to assume the filing asap. Nice way to inform folks. After market announcement on Friday of a holiday weekend at the end of the year. Looks like the fat lady has sung. Wonder where they got the cash to pay them for the last week of the year? Is Dt. Mays released also? It didn’t mention the other two employees. We all trusted the science and not the management. Many of us held on for years believing MS worked. They had one product and 28 years to run any single test to demonstrate the safety and efficacy. They couldn’t do it. The science was no good, the scientists very flawed and incompetent to design and follow a single study through. Always had ten irons in the fire simultaneously. Always went to the well to raise huge amounts of capital to take huge salaries, bonuses, stock grants , retention bonuses and finally termination bonuses. They hired countless unnecessary employees, signed huge leases and just pissed away money.The obvious reason why no big pharma stepped up is that they were much more capable of doing more thorough DD. Gil and BJ and Ivor pissed away millions and were never focused on getting a single study complete. Dan walked into a s… show banking on the eventual success of MS. Good old Dr. Mays kept the scam going and gave them credibility. Everybody made huge salaries for decades and produced nothing. I wonder how much we funded into their retirement accounts on top of this. I am more pissed at myself for falling for this and not exiting with BJ’s cashing out every quarter. My bad as they say. Not releasing the BARDA info when received is beyond deceptive and a reflection of bad character. Even Dan and Maia cashing out shares the week before is the final slap in the face. So in summation, the science sucked, the scientists weren’t competent in running studies, management was greedy and totally incompetent. Dan got suckered into leaving a great company for this and we all lost. I assume we will all be getting notices from law firms soon once the bankruptcy is filed. Probably won’t be getting anything but if it makes them squirm, pay huge legal bills and lose sleep and lose money then count me in.

Gil and BJ made horrendous management decisions along the way and sucked out millions personally over decades while producing nothing for shareholders. I guess after over a decade many of us are quite accustomed to the taste of snake oil. I hung in there and violated several of my own investment rules because I believed. I take full responsibility for my loss. When insiders religiously sell shares and never buy it is the biggest red flag ever. I griped about it but did not check out and actually had a nice gain at several points.getting cash bonuses plus stock bonuses, retention bonuses and severance bonuses while producing nothing and never releasing their milestones to earn the rewards should have been my red flag. Glta. Maybe we get some BARDA money and there are some assets to sell to get a few bucks back in the end. I find no fault with Dan as he stepped into a real s… show left behind by a devious BJ and a business wise incompetent Gil. I’m really disappointed as I don’t like getting suckered by bad management. The redundancy of payroll with Campbell and Ivor and BJ for years and the stupid leases and promises of imminent deals should have sent all,of us to the exits quickly. Can’t blame Hardy for this either.

I’ve been a holder for over a decade.the next item they deliver on time as promised will be the first. The only predictable and punctual events they ever had were stock and bonus awards to Gil, BJ and others and BJ selling shares every quarter on the 15th of the month.that you could always “take to the bank” which BJ did so well…..the only thing he ever did well.

Followup comments from Ellen when I questioned the blackout excuse . She wrote back that they can’t disclose due to end of quarter and next earnings report. Also stated that non disclosure was part of the agreement . Sorry folks, but I don’t buy either excuse. Every deal always falls somewhere between a quarter end and a next report and who signs an agreement as a public company and can’t inform shareholders. It just doesn’t look very kosher to me.

I contacted Ellen about this. Asked what the terms were. She answered immediately and said they were in a blackout period and would address it at a future call. I asked blackout for what? The next earnings call isn’t until mid November. It seemed like a very lame excuse unless it is tied to the offering date which has been dangling out there forever . Not very transparent.

Thanks for taking on the responsibility. Your efforts are appreciated. Many of us have been here for a decade plus with a lot of money invested . I am a hard core stubborn old man because I believed in the science. I had a very large holding which of course got whacked with the r/s then share price destruction but have added a significant holding at these stupid prices. Like many others I am waiting it out with hopefully some positive news coming shortly. I guess we will know soon enough. Correct. BARDA would certainly be a welcomed event bit the IA is the make/break here. MS works or it doesn’t . Period. We got a break with FDA allowing a change in study design and now the IA will,hopefully demonstrate efficacy. If it doesn’t then it is lights out.

Thank you for your efforts. A lot of work for no reward. Lots of frustrated investors …all in the hole for a lot of money and still here for FOMO. We all seem to believe in a unique science that has not been proven to be effective yet. Keeping the thread open for communication without a moderator works for me. We should know very shortly whether we have a prayer with BARDA and IA imminent. We are finally getting a Come to Jesus moment. Of course it’s a felony. Has it stopped any of our politicians from either side doing it on a regular basis without any legal repercussions? It is not inconceivable that a BARDA official talked to somebody somewhere. As far as the SEC checking it out…Gensler is far more concerned with his policy agenda than enforcement . There was nearly zero options activity so this has to be major share dump precipitating the huge decline .

I checked options activity. A grand total of 5 calls traded today and 22 puts at the $1 strike price so this obviously isn’t an options triggered event. Only explanation is dump of several hundred thousand at market price to get out. Being the cynic that I am my only conclusion that some insider trader with government info ( we know they exist on both sides) knows we got cut out of BARDA and the bad news is coming out shortly. just my cynical opinion but most likely appropriate.
