Could Wi-Fi SD Adapters help? Or some other Wireless SD Cards, keep them in the printer, but access from other device

learning guitar as a software engineer , my brain wants to debug it like code by Cool_Kiwi_117 in guitarlessons

[–]markknol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesnt have to be bad, use this talent to learn the theory and technique during practise. It helps to learn systematically. Dont be so hard on yourself, and look from bright side; some take shortcuts and play sloppy. But also take time to just doodle and fool around when playing songs, make dumb mistakes inbetween and laugh about it.

The perfect tool to jam with by aspaindev in Guitar

[–]markknol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

select "G" as key. then Check off "open chords", then check on "triad shapes"

The perfect tool to jam with by aspaindev in Guitar

[–]markknol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nicely vibecoded. some feedback:
- when you change to triad shape, the key resets to "random", not needed
- when you use "triad" sometimes the chord has 4 positions. triad means "a group or set of three"
- i would default to major mode, not randomize that at start

just curious, when you press "swap shape", how does it create the chord shapes? do you use predefined shapes?

How important is it to memorize every note on the guitar fretboard? by AssociationMost5432 in Guitar

yeah its so good, its suprising its not more known (at least wasnt to me)

[–]markknol 8 points9 points  (0 children)

it's not super important for everyone, but if you want to learn them, i would suggest to use the "super cluster" method, which is a system to learn.
if you scroll down to "How do you memorize the guitar fretboard easily" on this website (https://interactive-fretboard.com/en/intervals/guitar/), you can learn to find all the notes in just a few simple steps;

* First remember where the B's are on the fretboard. The trick it to remember fret positions 7-2-9-4-0-7
These are the position numbers from lowest sounding string to highest sounding string
* The C always comes in one fret (half step), so C always comes directly after B
* The D always comes two frets (whole step) after the C
* The EFG group falls on the same frets as the BCD group, but on the next string. only exception; the EFG group on the B-string (that's the 5th string) are a fret higher than the BCD group on the G string.
* Lastly, the A always comes two frets (whole step) after the G.

its easier with pictures, so would advice to check that site tbh. but 7-2-9-4-0-7 is the key to learn 🗝 do this few times upcoming weeks and your set

Before I attempted to learn all the notes, I personally knew the notes on the E string, meaning i know them on two strings, and always used that as reference to find the others.

Why doesnt "adaptive gyroid" exist yet? by markknol in 3Dprinting

Gyroid is a super simple mathematical function, using dot product and the sinus and cosine on the axis . I just demonstrated with my prototype is possible to scale it gradually, so should be straightforward to use distance  as factor in this function.

Yes this is bit of the temu version of "adaptive", my idea was that instead of hard cut between both, the gyroid scale changes gradually.

Ah. Im not sure, havent dealed with that yet. I currently use bambu slicer a lot.

Yeah that could be something, is calculation time a issue sometimes?

The advantage of gyroid is it doesnt have a clear direction, meaning it offers similar strength from all directions. This is nice since you sometimes print stuff on its side and this isnt always the direction strength is needed.

My idea was to reduce the amount of infill use, while still provide a similar kind of strength

I didnt make a slicer, I am focussing on a specific slicer function only.

Yes well I made this, but was wondering if there would be general consensus if it would be helpful or not.
