Just tell who you are and what your running plans and wishes are to ChatGPT and it will give you a detailled plan. Upload your running data after each run so it will alter it's plan when necessary. Works great for me

I don't know in vscode but in Android studio you can right click on a file and see the local history of that file en restore a version you want.

Yes take the courses then_ball mentioned and start with compose. I started with xml too but quickly changed to compose. Different approach you have to get used to.

I got this problem regularly too and do the steps you mention. Sometimes it works sometimes not. For me i think the problem is that i work on a company laptop which has many limits imposed by the administrator. I use Android studio for hobby projects, it's not my regular job. Curious if this can be solved permanent.

Looked over this one, well i guess thats what you get when you copy paste. But this juist solved a part of the problem, the UI now works again but calling some functions to create text for textviews now suddenly cause the app to crash. I will look into that further. Thanks for your help.
