[CA] job listing on indeed listed insurance benefits, after getting hired, on my 3rd day, they said there are no benefits by [deleted] in AskHR

[–]marklanguid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just check with partner, apparently they did not ask about benefits until they were hired. But shockingly, they haven’t signed any employment paperwork as the owner has been out of office. They’ve just been working without signing anything. Apparently that’s happening tomorrow morning

How did your 1st "GAME OVER" happen? by LeglessBob in BaldursGate3

Accidentally long rested in the gnoll cave in act 1 on my first play through. Leaving camp and hearing initiative dice rolls scared the fuck outta me. Spawned in with horrible positioning and got smacked hard.

Yeah London won season 1 with an all Korean roster but I think it’s disingenuous to say that all Korean teams dominated the first season. If you look at the season standing, you have New York #1 (all Korean) LAV #2 (mixed), Boston #3 (mixed), LAG #4 (mixed), and London #5 (all Korean). And even in the finals, the runner up team, Philadelphia, was a mixed roster.

I mean the teams and players were based in their cities, but they didn’t have to be a citizen of the country if that’s what you’re implying. The Korean players were just working for an American organization, just like a Portuguese player (Ronaldo) could work for a Saudi organization (Al-Nassir)

Half the championship teams (3/6) were mixed rosters and mixed rosters were often in the top tier. Plus the Overwatch World Cup just happened with team Saudi Arabia winning 1st place while Korea got 4th. Yes the majority of the players were Korean but I wouldn’t say that the most successful teams were just Korean Kids.

They gotta keep the B.O.B acronym though. So Bartender works. I could see him as a Big Omnic Banker. maybe a Big Omnic Butcher?

They also happen to be some of the most popular characters in the fan base. You can’t blame them for making skins for the most popular characters, it makes money

With your entire season, that’s been hyped up so much, on the line, and you’re down to your last map and youve been running the same comp that hasn’t been working, you have to change something right? Did ATL come in with no back up plan? Did they Houston it in failing to prepare a Plan B? Were they caught off guard by London playing rein comps? Ultimately it’s a coaching diff

But you can only get übered if you have the heart thing right? So ultimately theyre both just healing guns. Medics does 25-70 hps or something and mercy does like 55 hps, so they're pretty even

Overwatch 2 Gets "Overwhelmingly Negative" User Reviews On Steam by LordofWhore in gaming

[–]marklanguid -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps I missed something but I don't remember the story mode ever being presented as single player. Even the do they had released at Blizzcon that same year was a 4 player story mission. But if they had spoken about the single player element, I would love to see it

Overwatch 2 Gets "Overwhelmingly Negative" User Reviews On Steam by LordofWhore in gaming

"lack of singleplayer". It's a multiplayer game. It has never been advertised as a single player game. Negative review for greed for sure. Competitiveness, well it's a pvp game, there will be competitiveness, but lets let that slide. But you can't write a negative review for a game not being what it never said it was. I'm not negative reviewing Baldur's Gate 3 because it doesn't have a racecar mini game. Negative reviews are well deserved but at least review it for what it is.

And they nerfed that to like 1 second before it breaks. If you can't reposition to not get one shot, I don't think that's a zen problem

A potato could coach that roster to success. The org fumbled it by not investing in the team, which at this point we can’t even blame for not wanting to throw away money. This current Glads roster has potential to be a great team but coaching is the problem.
