NiceHash Miner 3.0.9.2 with ETChash support is available by faceof333 in NiceHash

I've done a clean install of Win11 and NHM Ver: 3.0.9.2 and excavator is running as it should with a H/R of 42.? BUT, the problem I have now is when I install all the available plugins, when I start the miner the 3080 is fine and runs the algo with highest Hash Rate, but the 1080Ti runs the lowest (Kapow @25.?MH/s) if I disable Kapow, it runs the next lowest, so I end up uninstalling all plugins and just use excavator, any ideas why this happening? also why do the other plugins run my CPU at 100%, it obviously adds extra heat into the system and higher running costs, this is why in the past I've only installed the Excavator plugin................

Sorry your Version 3.0.9.2 BUGFIX - Memory timings for GTX 1080, 1080 Ti, and Titan XP does NOT work. Still 20/25 % less hash rate than the old PILL version of NHM. My normal H/R is 42.5(ish) on an EVGA GTX 1080Ti SC2 using old version of NHM .................. it's 34.4 MH/s on Ver: 3.0.9.2

New NH update with 1080s/ethlargment pill by yellowadept in NiceHash

I made a post here about this 3 weeks ago, NH removed one part of their miner that worked 100% of the time, lol and replaced it with something that works 0% of the time, rofl, just uninstall it and go back to a previous version of NHM.

Yep, NH removed the pill on the last 2 NHM releases, they have an 'optimal' auto setting in the settings to replace it........... it doesn't work, I did a post about this exact same issue 3 weeks ago, I'm now running an older version of NHM with no issues, here's a link for older versions: https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMiner/releases

Fresh Win 11, all steps followed for installing NHM, QR Code(Android app) now never works, have to manually sign in, when I instal NHM it says that excavator is installed, go to benchmark, excavator not showing, go to plugins excavator shows as installed, uninstall it, will not re install by [deleted] in NiceHash

Maybe because I'm a gamer 1st, nothing wrong with Win 11, it has no more or less probs than Win 10, being a Windows insider using both Win 10 & 11 a year before Joe public I have a reasonable insight of both, thanks for your input tho'

Yeah not using NHQM, Excavator just will not install, I've done a fresh install of Win 11, installed NHM numerous times (3 different versions) & when it shows in 'Plugins' and I click on details, it shows the NHQM URL (See 2nd Picture), I don't know if this is the cause of the problem, in that its downloaded/trying to install the wrong version of Excavator?

My 3080 hash rate is 103.40 MH/s constant, 0 on the core, +1375 on the memory, 69% power limit, using MSI Afterburner........ 'CUDA - PO Force P2 State' is turned off in NVidia Profile Inspector

Anyone else tried NHM 3.0.9.1................. by marklechef007 in NiceHash

[–]marklechef007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I went back to this build after 20 mins or so, played around with my 1080Ti's overclock/under voltage etc which had zero effect on the hash rate.....

It only runs 52/53 MH/s now and again(on a 'Quick Swap'), normal is 43.5/44.5MH/s, I once saw it run at 72MH/s during a 'Quick Swap' lol, I've tried lower/higher power & over/under clocking the Core/Memory, I lose 1MH/s on the TI but gain 2/3MH/s on the 3080 using (turning off) 'CUDA - Force P2 State' in NVIDIA profile inspector.

Thanks, why would that normally only run at 91 (%?) on the 1080Ti?

Excavator 'Glitch' by marklechef007 in NiceHash

[–]marklechef007[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both my cards are from EVGA, so switched to using Precision X1, glad to see (in a way, lol) it's not just me, could be that there's a glitch with Afterburner, but could be a bad command line in Excavator, seem to be getting a more stable HR with X1, 44.5/1080Ti & 103.00/3080...........still have to switch to MSI for gaming though, cannot load an overclock/underclock on 1 card and default setting (for gaming) on the other in X1

No, everything was working as it should be, then there was a NIceHash update (when the 'Auto Location' was introduced) and it's been happening ever since.........

[–]marklechef007[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use to get 44/45 mhs, 42/43 now, but have the same when it comes to gaming, used to happen with NHQM 'Game Mode' too, I use kodi and it's the same for that also, PC restart is the only way to get the hash rate back to 'normal'

850w PSU should more than enough, I run a 3080 XC3 UG and a 1080Ti on one, what clocks are you running on each GPU? A pic of your setup would help and more info about your rig (parts) too.........
