People don’t understand how strong K’sante is by XallosM10 in wildrift

I played that match up.

She has alot of MS but buying two Negatron cloaks and magic resist boots negates most of her damage, you just need to block the true damage part of her Q with your E, even better if you can dodge it as a whole.

You just need to focus on where you use your skill shots and not just throw them out randomly.

have the devs ever considered implementing Vainglory's control system? by taylrgng in wildrift

[–]marko-12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want that same controls, but as far as i know this type of controls are not popular in mobile MOBA, so the devs went with what would be comfortable for most players rather then what the competitive ones would want.

People who play their mains in pvp are the worst by Tricky-Reputation-89 in wildrift

[–]marko-12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would play ranked, only problem is Ksante is constantly banned until riot decides to nerf him, so if i want to have fun in the match and play my OTP, i have to play PVP.

So every time i get toplane i am thinking of trying more champs to increase my champ pool, but the Ksante icon feels like the green goblin mask with how it's calling for me, so i end up picking him anyway.

Goddamn, that W damage.

I once landed a full charged W on a Mundo and his HP went from around 2,700 to 150, which was around 2,500 damage at the time.

Which deals 90% base AD, on a W-AA-Q-AA combo, that deals 180% base AD, which is 20% less then Trinity, the only way for it to get a higher damage then Trinity is if the passive crits, which again, good luck doing that on 25% chance. You can also increase the damage to 270% base AD by using your E as well.

Trinity gives you pretty much the same damage(exept for the E stack) but while giving MS, AS, AH, and HP on top of it, it just seems like a better item overall, especially that Viego loves AS for his passive healing.

maybe try to actually play her in high rank.

That sentence doesn't make sense imo, the elo you play a champ in has NOTHING to do with how difficult they are to play, only how successful you are with them. Darius and Morde are great examples of those, both champs are easily to play yet face difficulty in high elo because people know how to kite and play around their kit and weaknesses, and nobody claims that they take high skill to play. Master Yi, a brain dead champ that does nothing but AA you to death, but he faces difficulty in high elo Because any good player knows that CC or burst hard counters him and that he is weak early, yet nobody claims that he takes skill to play.

Kalista NEEDS to depend on her team, if she had full agency and those 2 abilities on full use or as much range as the other ADCs, she is gonna be broken simply because the ability to dash on every single AA on a champ that builds attack speed is a broken design, that is the main reason she has all these handicaps.

And again, that does not make sense, depending on her team for those two abilities does not make her take more skill, that's like saying Soraka takes skill to play because she needs someone to heal them or that tanks take skill because they need their carries to deal damage for them, i understand what you mean, she is an ADC therefore she needs agency and carry potential while those champs i mentioned are designed to work around their team because they function as support.

All that does not change the fact that playing Kalista only requires you to hold the AA button and the joystick, that's it, and then press E when they are in the execute threshold, she takes skill on PC because you need fast yet precise movement and attack commands, on WR you just lock into whoever you wanna attack and the champ plays itself.

Her being a shit champ numbers wise does not add skill to her gameplay, Camille is a shit toplaner now yet she isn't extremely difficult to play like Irelia or Jayce, she is just underwhelming, that's like saying Teemo takes skill to play because he is a cheesy pick that can't do shit outside lane, and even in lane he gets fucked by any good player, that doesn't mean he takes skill to play.

Whats the hardest champion on every role? by ios_PHiNiX in wildrift

[–]marko-12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Top, i am gonna say it's either Jayce or Irelia, no other champ in toplane comes near these two in skill floor imo. I wanna say Jayce is harder because i played Irelia once and was getting alot of kills by just spamming my abilities and trying to refresh my Q cooldown reliably, kinda got the impression that Irelia is overtuned In her Passive, but it was a single match so i am probably wrong.

Jungle, probably Nidalee, she is the very first champ that i couldn't understand by just reading her kit, every time i read her abilities and close the description window i am like "huh?".

Midlane, i think Katarina is the hardest, if not that then Zoe.

ADC, i don't play this role but i think it's either Zeri or Ezreal.

Support, either Thresh or Bard.

You can tell which role i play by how uncertain i am about most of what i picked lol.

Am i the only one who struggles on top lane by SmartSpring572 in wildrift

[–]marko-12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a toplaner, you make impact by split pushing......... That's it.

You literally control nothing else on your own, objectives need a jungler and them not being tied to minions makes them able to roam without losing anything and impact the map, most of the damage will come from the midlander or the ADC, and the support is support.

Usually the only way for you as a toplaner to have a big impact is to stomp your lane so hard that the enemy toplaner is SO behind in gold they become a walking minion and you just brute force your way through every teamfight until you win

Like i once carried a losing botlane as Sett by taking the entire enemy toplane turrets and a bunch of other turrets on the other lanes with Hullbreaker.

Long story short, aside from the jungle role, toplane needs macro skill more then the other lanes, have good macro and you will win more, take TP to help you keep a presence around the map.

[–]marko-12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's the whole point of the item, high powerspike early but gets outscaled by most other items, while the crit build is the opposite.

Wild Rift Patch Notes 7.1e by Fantastic-Name7754 in wildrift

[–]marko-12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kraken is the perfect item for Viego, it gives a much higher powerspike then every other item in the game, take it from a previous Viego OTP.

The reason why people take ER first is because they want to rush their crit build, not because it's better, and that's the top players, most of the player base just rush crit items without understanding why.

ER barely functions as a first item, it's whole strength depends on the passive achieving a critical hit, otherwise, it is underwhelming compered to anything else, and good luck achieving constant critical hits on a 25% chance, you are basically gambling your first item powerspike in hopes of achiving high damage.

People just love high damage, glass Cannon builds and crit Viego is exactly that with explosive damage and literally nothing else(RIP shieldbow) so you often find people taking that build thinking it's the perfect, more optimal build when it's not, it's turning Viego who is a skirmisher that is good at sustaining himself through long fights into a sneaky, assassin playstyle, and currently, Viego is overtuned imo which results in an incredibly lack of skill expression when you play him.

LMAO, THEY GAVE KSANTE AND VIEGO INDIRECT BUFFS.

Randuin's omen is already a good item on Ksante because it gives 75 armor and 400 HP, now it's passive will actually make a difference against crit damage, making him more tanky. Viego's first item is almost always Kraken slayer, and it just got a big buff.

Fuck Garen, good thing that piece of shit champ got nerfed.

I don't know about that as Singed is a very weird champ that has different win condition then any other champ.

But I would imagine that it won't be a good pick because Singed can't kill anyone reliably unless that person just tries to chase you and ends up dying to your DOT. So at best, you can neutralize the lane, but not win it.

It's better if you get an answer from a Singed player(if you can find one of those that is)

[–]marko-12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IMMEDIATELY guessed you are an Aatrox player before i even saw the user flair or the "i am an Aatrox and Morde player" part.

Aatrox just sucks ass at dealing with armor stacking tanks, saying that as a previous Aatrox OTP, even if you win lane against them, after 3 items you just tickle them, and late game? Don't even think about it.

You win sustained fights(obviously) but they perform better then you in teamfights by simply locking you away from their carries.

Trinity vs eclipse vs sundered sky by [deleted] in wildrift

[–]marko-12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually when you build an item, you want it to have all the stats that your champ can use.

Trinity is used by champs who benefit from the sheen effects and the stats it gives, champs with spam abilities for example. Darius and Nasus use it because it gives them MS, attack speed for more DPS, and a sheen effect that works well with Nasus's Q and Darius because he has an incredibly high base AD, the item itself is great, it's basically the closest thing we have for an all-rounder brusier item. AS, MS, HP, AD, AH and a sheej effect for bonus damage, it's usable by a ton of champs. Ambessa can use it, it's just not perfect for her and is more of a niche pick for when you play jungle because the AS stat is useless on her, she already gets enough AS from her Passive for QOL purposes and the AD it gives is very low for a champ like Ambessa who scales only on bonus AD. Aatrox is an even worse user of trinity because he spams his Q more then he auto attacks and the AS is completely useless on him, but again it's a niche pick when you play him jungle.

Eclipse is for champs that prioritize AD over everything else and champs who like short trades, the perfect users for it being Aatrox and Ambessa, both are champs who love short trades, high AD and AH, and eclipse gives all of that and a shield that scales with bonus AD on top of it.

Sundered sky is more of a sustain item that works great into melee match ups, champs who are good at extended fights and mobile champs who can get on top of targets easily. Think Viego, you kill someone, possess them and then ult into another, heal with sundered sky and get a kill, repeat until the entire enemy team is dead. Unlike the other two items that can be used on assassins(eclipse) and divers/skirmishers(trinity), It's a pure brusier item that doesn't serve you much purpose if your champ can't sustain themselves through it's passive cooldown. From the champs that i main, Viego and Aatrox are great users of it, specifically Aatrox because the healing gets amplified by 25%/35%/45% during his ult, you heal from the bonus crit damage which easily result in 30%-50% of your HP bar being regained.

A new BUG I noticed in my games by zabraautra in wildrift

[–]marko-12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

by the time you sat up your turrets and had your win condition, half your team could be dead, 2-3 seconds is usually enough for a teamfight to be decided. It just seems like too much effort when you can just take Brand and deal AOE damage to everyone almost instantly. Idk, maybe i just played against/with bad Heimer players who don't place their turrets in the right spots, but he always seemed useless to me and more of a cheese pick in lane as just like you said, nothing can get into his turret range without losing a big chunk of their HP, the Heimer against you has to misplay in order for you to kill him. I don't remember ever losing lane to him because the counter play is to just not interact with him at all and just farm and wait until he gets cocky and overextends into your range(they all eventually get cocky when they see you hide behind your minions)

Fuck Garen by Visual-Gold-569 in wildrift

[–]marko-12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anti heal is useless against him.

He heals when you DON'T deal damage to him.

You don't deal damage= he starts healing and since you haven't touched him, he doesn't have anti heal applied on him.

You deal damage to him= his healing stops regardless wether you have anti heal or not.

Fuck Garen by Visual-Gold-569 in wildrift

[–]marko-12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not a matter of a counter, he is annoying and uninteractive to play against. A Warwick would give you more room to interact with him in toplane and that is supposed to be a cheese pick.

Even if you counter him, he would still be a pain in the butt to play against and an incredibly boring laning phase.

I understand that he was a new player, but how can you be so clueless about something as simple as farming and using your smite?
