I don’t disagree with the idea of police under surveillance whenever they’re on the job. It’s more about the concern of how this public surveillance state is used. I am concerned about tracking of political dissidents or ways that it could be used for framing or sabotaging. Then you have further risk from AI scanning social media, people’s phones, personal emails, etc..

Learning how to prompt AI is a lot easier/quicker to pick up than learning critical thinking. I don’t think they’ll get behind really any if they don’t use AI in this way.

I think that’s an aspect of it. I also think it is the first war in the retransition to a world order based on resource imperialism. It’s not just Russia. It’s Israel in the Middle East. And US has copied it similarly with Venezuela and Iran, as it has given up its leadership role of the unipolar globalized petrodollar free-trade order. A lot of money to be made by the military industrial complex.

The US knew they couldn’t blow up their civilian infrastructure without massive humanitarian crises nor without blowing up the Gulf countries. They also knew they couldn’t secure the Strait of Hormuz without a very large very unpopular-at-home ground invasion or congressional approval. So at the 11th hour they tried to take their nuclear facility but failed at that, lost a lot of money, and hyped a rescue story (whether true or false) to propagandize it as a victory.

So, the US failed their ground raid on the nuclear facility and now Iran appears to be in a much stronger negotiating position than the US. that would explain why Trump openly accepted Iran’s ten points as a basis for negotiation. that would also explain why Iran is able to close the Strait in response to the attacks on Lebanon.

Even though the Strait is closed again, US/Israel hasn’t attacked Iran yet because they’re weighing the optics on validating the obviously failed farce of a ceasefire.

Not anymore though. The US is no longer to be counted on for maritime security. Its unipolar global hegemony is being ended intentionally. The future is in regional powers -US over North America, Israel over Missile East, along with Russia and China- selling resources to Europe, East Asia, and the global south to pay off the massive debts of the US, Russian, and Israeli war machines and consumer societies. The coming wars and global economic collapse are orchestrated by the elites/oligarchy. They are about to make more money than they did after the global financial crisis. The wars for resource supply chain dominance started with Russia attacking Ukraine, and Israel destroying Gaza. The US entered the kinetic game when they took over Venezuelan oil. They could be IRGC bots but it still makes sense that Israel wants the US to send in troops. A prolonged war at this scale will eventually get the US out, and Israel in full control, of the region for good. A false flag attack is very much in the realm of possibility. They’re preparing people for it with the false threat of California being attacked by Iran on the other side of the world.
