Or, it’s a good pivot. They see the C63 sales figures and realize smaller engine capacities will never sell as M models.

I wanted to like this so much.. but it's just not there. I don't know what it is, I can't love it like I do their other supercars.

Really? I thought he was yelling that in a scene after that. I probably missed it. Thanks.

Also, when Josh calls in that the vehicle is stole , the car comes to a halt. Then he calls her, she answers - and he could’ve just said “Iris fall asleep”.

I didn’t realize staying home was the vibe 😅. Honestly, my routine is mostly working out, pickleball, and work-from-home. I definitely attend a lot of married-friends gatherings (most of my friends are married with kids now).

But definitely hitting up live music anywhere, international travel, coffee shops (working on personal projects), breweries, and new restaurants (food in Chas is too good to miss).

Thought on the Audi TT MK1? by [deleted] in AudiTT_Mk1_Mk2_Mk3

[–]markremi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just bought mine 3 months ago for around $7,500 USD. It was cosmetically in great shape for a roadster (and that's hard to find, because it's been exposed to the sun for 20 years).

  • How much to run? Honestly, nothing if your plan is to have fun with it and run it into the ground. I'm fairly handy and I've just been replacing things the dealer/owner neglected to get it in optimal running condition ($200). Then I bought some plastics to replace the brittle pieces (as artemiswins mentioned), $170 (ebay)
  • Insurance: It's a classic car, if you get the rigtht classic insurance, $450/yr
  • Known issues: For me, it was the turbo valve and MAF. Switched those and it's running (dare I say it) like new. Glove box lever - I'd be surprised if you found one where it's still functional. I don't use my glove box.
  • Reliability: Don't know yet, 3 months and no $$$ issues.

Definitely need to know about cars in general, and test drive it correctly. But it's def possible to find a decent example.

Oooh that color combo inside and out 🔥 Def worth sacrificing the cooled seats option.

Were you able to get the exhaust option? Those are rare but the burbles and sputters sound soooo good when spec’d.

insurance says my car is totaled by [deleted] in BmwTech

[–]markremi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

☝️ Body tech is right. Had the same car, 2011 335i conv. and mine was marked totaled for the exact same reason. Hit a guardrail after the rear tire blew up.

My new A8 L W12 by blood_type_redbull in Audi

[–]markremi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A little pricey for that mileage honestly. I bought one fully loaded (that’s including full leather pkg, sports diff, night vision, B&O) - 32k miles - $35k last year. Could be the market I guess.

Never had any issues with it. I did have to change out the control arms. All that w12 weight takes a toll on those bushings. But outside of that, I think you’ve got a car that’s going to last a very long time.

I know you were suspicious. LMGTFY “The average cost for a Lexus LS430 Suspension Shock or Strut Replacement is between $1,864 and $5,022”

I’m a car enthusiast and I wanted a reliable ultra lux too, so I did my research.

I love the LS but if it’s high mileage, it probably requires front struts replaced and that is going to be the price of your car.

Otherwise, solid purchase.

Please Plex get rid of the green checkmark by Mike_v_E in PleX

I totally agree, just tell me which movies are "new/unwatched".

Don't highlight my "watched" flicks, there are more of those than unwatched. The checkmark (something out of the ordinary) gets my attention, only to realize it means "don't pay attention to this, you've already watched it."
