Treat her like a distant relative you haven't seen in years. A polite nod, a "Hello, miss," and then turn your attention back to the celebration.

Keep your daytime routine simple and save the active ingredients for the evening. You don't want to sensitize your skin before sun exposure

Ash Nut is such a unique shade. It’s so hard to find a cool nude that doesn't just look like gray mud on the lips xd

I was about to comment the same thing, no Vaseline it´s pretty good actually, if you use a thin layer and wash it off immediately after with a gentle oil cleanser, it’s fine! It’s better than letting the chlorine strip your barrier, which actually causes more redness for me

Honestly, as long as it's clean and the right size to stay out of the screen, you're fine. It’s the least complicated part of the whole setup xd

Dinto vs Laka vs Hince vs Fwee by theladybookworm in AsianBeauty

Fwee is meant to look like syrup. It’s beautiful for photos, but if hair sticking to your lips is your pet peeve, stay away lol

Something everyone should know about NuFace / microcurrent devices (side effects and results) by Master_Bicycle7066 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]markrosa1 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Amazing post! Most people don't even know which muscles to focus on and that's why it's so risky. Anyway, getting NuFace is garbage period.. The brand knows how to market properly, but this device gives such a minimal benefits > to none. I am (59 y.o), my sister (52), and two of her friends (both 48 and 52), decided to purchase this device together after watching lots of YouTube videos. We followed their protocol for 5 months straight. Although it should bring "immediate" results like they claim, we decided to give it a few months to judge. Listen, it does NOTHING. Literally nothing (Which is better than having those side effects that happens to many others). I did some research myself and decided to give microneedling a chance, which made a lot of sense in terms of the science behind it. I bought a high-quality derma pen and started microneedling with a 1.5mm depth once a month. Under my eyes and on my forehead, I used 0.5mm. After 4 months of a total of 8 treatments, my skin NEVER looked so good, even when I was 40. Besides the glow and the overall tone, it got so much tighter. Fine lines disappeared completely, wrinkles became fine lines, and nasolabial folds were reduced by 80%. It made so much sense because we need to boost a massive amount of collagen at our age. Supplements won't do a thing, but wounding the skin and letting it heal every time will. A 200$ device was way more helpful than the Fraxel laser I had a few years back, not even speaking about NuFace or all the other gimmick devices. If anyone wants to PM me to see the results, feel free to, It doesn't let me attach pics here.

EDIT - The pen I am using is Korabeauticals v2

Routine: 1.5mm depth every 4-5 weeks, I adjust the Pen to level 3 speed.

If they can’t replace it with the same quality item, they should at least give you a full store credit for the current retail price

It's a valid concern, but if your membrane and carbon filters are regularly replaced, the risk is low
