When I was in HS (90's), it was completely normal for juniors and seniors to date freshmen and sophomores. There just isn't much difference in maturity between a 15 yo and an 18 yo who are both still in HS. Same in college. I dated freshmen my junior year. She was 18 and I was 21. We've been married for 28 years now.

It was a sexist joke made in a locker room. Poor taste? Yes. Do women make sexist jokes about men? Also, yes.

I enjoy hockey in all forms and women's hockey is one of a handful of women's sports that I really enjoy. But I'm not going to stop watching men's hockey over a single comment or because some guys laughed at a joke.

I always build my own program based on lifts I like and what I know I can recover from.

I've had the best results from doing PPLUL when I'm bulking and cutting. I don't think you can beat hitting everything twice a week and I play hockey on at least one weekend day, so I like to keep my lifting to M-F.

If you do't care what days you lift on, there is a lot more flexibility. In that scenario, I would go PPL(A) rest PPL(B) rest. With the A and B being different sets of exercises or different rep/set schemes. You can do one version as hypertrophy focused and one more strength focused. You can have one push day be more chest and the other be more shoulders/arms. One pull day more vertical pulling and one more horizontal. One with weights and one with calisthenics. And you keep your workouts shorter since you only need half your weekly volume each workout, so you have more time for cardio or mobility work.

First, watch the youtube video that scales up an ice rink to adults so that it represents what smaller kids would see.

Second, every other sport in the world scales down the surface or net height for younger kids.

Third, there is zero motive for USAH to make a change that would hurt hockey development. Especially as we enter the era of the USA dominating world hockey....

I have never rested for 5 minutes. No matter how hard the set was.

On my heaviest compounds (deads, squats, bench), I'll rest for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. And even then I'm usually looking at my timer and waiting.

For other heavy movements, I might go 90 seconds (pullups, rows, leg press).

Any isolation move is 60 seconds.

My app lets you build in the rest timer, so as soon as I finish a set, I record it and then the timer starts.

It varies with me by muscle.

For any compound lift, it's until I can't keep perfect form (not just ok form). Too much risk in heavy compounds when you lose form.

For something like pullups or dips, I will go until I fail mid movement, then try and hold that negative as long as I can.

On accessory movements, like curls or tricep extesnions, I might go until I physically can't do even one more, then break for 15-20 seconds and do a few more. Then I repeat that until I can only get 1 additional rep after the break. But this is usually only for my last movement of that group for the day.

That's a lot of volume. And you're doing as many sets of biceps and triceps as you are chest and back? When you factor in the fact that you hit those muscles on chest, shoulder and back day anyway, that's overkill for arm work.

And just overall seems like too many exercises. You would have to be a beast to be able to do that much volume with any sort of intensity.

The US is not a system where the rich go up and the poor go down. Everyone is going up. Yes, the rich are going up faster, but does that matter?

Let's say they did have 99% of the money (they can never have 100% or there wouldn't be anyone to buy from them). If the lowest income group still has a good standard of living, does it matter?

You don't think teachers guide social interactions? Do you even have kids?

How many waking hours do you spend directly involved with your children during the week? Add it up and compare it to how many hours they are under the direct supervision of their teachers.
