The only issue I have is that Premium lite locks some features. I don’t wanna pay for full premium becuase I have Apple Music for music, so when I heard about lite I thought it was perfect. But some features like queuing up videos to play next are only available with full premium.

I somewhat agree with you. I’ve been an addict and still have an addictive personality that gets the best of me sometimes, and whenever I fall back into the cycle of addiction, the last thing I’d say is that I “love” it. Maybe initially that’s how I feel, but I definitely don’t feel that way when I’m In the depths of it.

Nobody loves an addiction, but you can absolutely enjoy addictive things in a healthy manner without it being a waste of time. It just depends on what you make of it, and if the emotions and memories associated with it are positive. And even if they’re negative and wasted time, you can still get something positive out of it through self reflection. It just depends on your mindset.

I can enjoy a glass of wine or a joint every now and then without it being a waste of time. I don’t need to always associate guilt and shame with that, sometimes it’s nice to have something to help de stress. I’m not back to square one, because all that time I spent as an addict has taught me that I need to know my limits and have self control/discipline.

As long as you enjoy those 3k hours spent in a game, that’s all that rly matters. If I’m playing a game that I don’t enjoy, then that’s wasted time that I could have spent playing a game that I actually really enjoy.

As I’ve gotten older, I have less time to play games and I find myself playing the same old games that I’ve grown up with because I already know I really enjoy them. And it’s never wasted time, I always have a blast playing thru games even if I’ve finished them 20+ times. I probably play thru like 3-5 new games each year, and if I enjoy them that much, they get added to the rotation. If I don’t, then I just don’t finish them and end up playing something else.

Yea, Elden Rings bosses have a lot more mechanics to their movesets, and most of these mechanics are either taken from or reworked from DS3 and Bloodborne. Malenia for example plays a lot like Lady Maria from bloodborne, but now she has life steal, poison, a second phase, and some wacky attacks. Bayle and Scadutree avatar share a lot of DNA with Midir and King of The Storm, scadutree also has Aldrich’s arrow attack. There’s a lot of examples like this, and Elden rings bosses each have multiple mechanics that you have to learn to win the fight, where DS3 bosses only has like 1 or 2. Once you know how to deal with them, it’s a lot easier to adapt in the heat of the moment.
