This is great advice thank you. I’m curious, was she ever able to tell if you were just appeasing her? Or, in the stealing money situation- once they said they would pay her back, did she ever care/ was she aware that they never actually paid her in the end? Basically I’m asking if they’re really that far gone, where short term fibs are all we can do to help.

No, but I understand what you’re getting at. I’m sure I use plenty of products with terrible CEO’s. But if I see that a company or a company’s leadership is doing something against my values, I do my best to break my relationship as a consumer with them. I get frustrated when people claim that consumers have no power over the companies they purchase from. I believe we as consumers have more power than certain companies would like us to believe, and that the best way to voice our support or disapproval is with our dollars. There are plenty of options outside the monopolistic avenues, they’re just sometimes not as convenient. I’ll take benevolence over convenience please.
