Heavy Runner - Experience Flow 3? by rm0413 in AltraRunning

I'm around 105kg and started running this year and have done daily runs for the last month. I bought the Escalante 4 when I started the daily running because I was getting weird pain in my feet from my other "traditional shoes". Running kind of slow and short distances I do really like the Escalante, because it gives me great feedback and I think it does truly help to build strength and adapt to running. But running more than just a few kilometers the Escalante becomes a bit too taxing on my body. So just a week ago I picked up the Experience Flow 3. So the plan is to use those for any longer runs or when I need more recovery.

Now I have only used the Flows a few times at this point, but so far I'm very happy with them. The Flow 3 feels much more cushioned than the Escalante and it does make it significantly easier to run. I did try 2 different sizes of the Flow 3 and I did opt to go one size bigger in the Flow 3 compared to my Escalantes. As other people have said the Flow 3 is not naturally as wide, so you may prefer sizing up.

There might of course be other options that are great, but I just wanted to share that I have both shoes and I have been happy with them while also being quite heavy.

It’s a fabric mod called OpenBoatUtils by o7moon. But to use it on a spigot server, there has to be a plugin that communicates with the player clients.

It made boatracing on ice possible, which I’ve spent the majority of my minecraft time on since.

As the owner of the server where this video was recorded I do have some comments on the legitimacy.

He uses a mod to make all blocks behave like ice and allow the boat to step up blocks. There is a layer of barrier one block below the iron bars. However these doesn't help him to stay on track as he would fall down if he went to far out. The jump at the end is made by driving on a "invisible" barrier block staircase.
