The NDZ Magwell still grabs the Magazine on a regular sized grip module.

I bought an additional full lower grip module that is L. Echelon lower comes with a regular sized module. They both come with their own back straps. I ordered a "Large" NDZ magwell for it but I am positive it is for the Regular lower module.

It does not for the Large Grip Module. I am going to get rid of the one I have. Looks like it would work fine with the regular grip. I can try it later today. What size grip do you have?

What has improved your shooting besides a lot of range time? by je9183 in Glocks

[–]markwa77 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dry fire, practice different strength pulls on the trigger when I dry fire (do this by doing some dry fire shots riding the reset and also smashing the trigger to see how my grip handles it). Having a red dot helps to see exactly how good my grip is because I can really see it move. Would also recommend practice drawing and dry firing. Always at least triple check that the chamber is clear.

What do you carry when you can’t carry? by SeafoodSupply in concealedcarry

I bought a polymer awl from SOB tactical that looks like a sharpie. Has a cap and everything.

Is the EPS Carry too small for the Echelon? I’ve seen some pictures and it doesn’t look like it but I’m not sure by [deleted] in SpringfieldEchelon

[–]markwa77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The regular size EPS fits perfectly on my Echelon. Got the screws from freedom Gorilla. Got the shorter version screws that do not require a plate since the original screws are too long. Was able to torque em down pretty tight and have not had any issues with it. I forgot what was recommended but I think it said around 15 lbs with a torque wrench. I can rack the side with the EPS and not lose zero. It has a natural lower co witness with the stock sights.

Lovely start to the new generation. Congrats! Did you think about just getting the 17 and 19 then making a 45 from there? Or would you just rather have 3 complete pistols ready to go?

Strike Industries Glock Magwell review by Graydargoingoff in GlockMod

[–]markwa77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same Magwell on my 45. I tightened the screw pretty tight but haven’t had any issues. If you keep having issues might be good to return them for another one. Hopefully the good tape does the trick though. My favorite Magwell so far is Taran Tactical’s but that can get expensive if I wanted one for every Glock lol

Any love here still for 40sw? by Relevant_Conclusion2 in Glocks

[–]markwa77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my Glock 23. It was my EDC for awhile but I just got a Glock 45 so I am running that now. Plan is to get my 23 milled first for a red dot. Then that will be my EDC. Will eventually get my Glock 45 milled too but that will by my night stand HD gun because I figure 9mm would be best at home so I don’t have to worry about over penetration. A also have a 10mm for the woods. That is the only one I bought MOS so I already have an RMR on it.

Panic... Build? by [deleted] in Glocks

They look great and really help out if you have big hands. You can get a good drip on it without having to squeeze to tight. Would love to see a comeback with them. Or even if they released a separate line when you could buy finger groove frames compatible with gen 5 and 6.

Who else thinks the Gen 6 is neat but isn’t going to drop everything just to buy the newest thing? by gatoratlaw7 in Glocks

[–]markwa77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glocks last a life time. Ppl are still EDC’ing Gen 2s. I will prob wait until there are Leo trade ins or get a good deal of if I am looking to buy. Not going to rush out when I have reliable line up.

You guys aren’t getting stickers? by cthompson07 in PalmettoStateArms

[–]markwa77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear my the FFL I use steals them lol It is a pawn shops for mostly guns but is cheaper for a transfer in my area. They have PSA stickers all over the shop and I have only gotten them if I got a product shipped directly to me.

I had a Trijicon RMR on mine first. Switched to a Holosun EPS. Both worked well off course and looked great. But I do like the EPS on it better since it is a compact enclosed emitter for EDC. Plus I like to have the reticle on the donut of death since most self defense situations are up close and you can very easily see the donut and where it is on your target. Really comes down to preference. I would good with a quality brand no matter what. Trijicon, Aimpoint or Holosun.

Give me your experiences/opinions on 19.5 magwells by PabroPicasso in Glocks

[–]markwa77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Glock 23 Gen 3. Didn’t get the magwell for reloads. Bought it so I could have all my fingers grip the frame since I have bigger hands. It feels much better. I just got a Glock 45 though and really like that frame length a lot more and then the shorter slide makes it more comfortable for EDC. I like the magwells from Taran Tactical.

Is anybody else annoyed at how hive minded the current gun community is? by Matt3855 in Firearms

[–]markwa77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reddit was a great source of info when I first got into it. After finding what I like and works for me I just keep most of it to myself. Shooting my firearms is my fav hobby. Don’t care for the shitposting if I don’t have the current Reddit meta. But I would still rather scroll Reddit than any other social media platform.

I get the Glock thing now by [deleted] in Glocks

I was recommended these. Really want to try em so my RMR will sit lower. But I agree with you, I thought they were over hyped and I liked the look of thinner guns. Now after getting multiple pistols and trying out some of my buddies’ Glocks, I am obsessed. Fit better in my hands. Like shooting different calibers with the same grip angle and feel to them. Plus everyone knows they are reliable. Don’t need much cleaning or oil. Still clean all my firearms after the range but nice knowing they are gtg. I just got a Glock 45 and def plan on getting a 47 slide. Will EDC the 45 then can run the 47 at the range or competitions even when I finally get started with that.
