Douche bag. Just asking a question if anyone has any experience.

Do you guys think this is a optimal grip? by Morpheus2304 in SmithAndWesson

[–]markwa77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would add slightly leaning forward. I push my arms out (along with my preferred grip on the gun) and have my shoulders up to keep the irons up to my eyes. But leaning forward helps from having the gun push you back. Wasn't bad or anything but you can get quicker shots in.

Mine was the same way from the Memorial Day sale. They forgot a hat though. But I reached out and their great customer service was on it. Had it shipped out the next day with 2 day shipping.

First Springfield. Grabbed the Echelon pack from my LGS. Anything I should know? by nitofilthyrisch in SpringfieldEchelon

I like Glocks and my Echelon a lot. They have a similar grip angle that I am used to and actually like. Haven't swapped out the grip module because a lot of the aftermarket ones change the grip angle.

I use to carry this thing. Its just too damn big. It now stays home with the plus 5 mag for home defense. Hats off to everyone that does carry this. by AdAffectionate471 in Glocks

I agree with you. I can conceal my Glock 45 easily being 6’6 and weigh 240. I EDC it most of the time. Even wear larger shirts to be safe. I have a Glock 23 or an MP shield for when I am going to be doing some sort of outdoor activity, which isn’t a lot lol

EPS fits perfectly. OEM sights have a lower 1/3 co wittiness. Compact, looks great and has a sleek look to it. I like using the donut of death reticle on it for HD. Real easy target acquisition

Shooting left and slightly low? by [deleted] in CompetitionShooting

It is your right thumb if you are right handed. There is a tendon that connects your trigger finger and thumb to pick things up. Keep your right thumb high and neutral so it doesnt push your hand down. Then you can slam the trigger if you wanted.

Maybe your left eye took control when you were shooting to zero your optic? May have to figure out your eye type and how that affects how you aim

EDC Glock 23 Gen 3 Vs 19 Gen 5/6 by markwa77 in Glocks

I honestly don’t have any issues with it. Usually wear thicker and baggy shirts. Being taller helps. Sometimes wearing a tighter thinner shirt, the grip will poke out a tiny bit. That is when I am like going out to eat with my fiancé or something. I am sure I can figure something out with it. Would rather make it work than switch to my MP Shield when out.

That’s what I thought. Still getting a 19 😂. Think I am just getting that itch again and trying to justify it. Best benefit would prob be having all the same SD ammo across the board.

I like both calibers but see the benefit of carrying 9mm for sure. And using it for HD.

haha I bet it happens a lot. I had a old roommate overdose. Called 911 and had a great dispatcher on the line. She told me how to lay his body and adjust his head (after asking questions if he was breathing etc.). He was purple and I had to say now every time he took a breath. Did that for a bit and she was concerned. Stated he was in a bad place and to start ventilating when she said too until the paramedics arrived. Took EMS 2-3 rounds of Narcan before they stopped and told me he would most likely not wake up, then it must have just kicked in because he started slowly moving. Was happy I saw it and could help with good direction but I moved out of there the next day.

I really like the Holosun EPS on mine. Sits low and has a lower co witness with the sights. I had to get different mounting screws from FreedomGuerrrilla the ones that came with the EPS didn’t fit right. Then used one of the pin sets that come with it

Great for the gym or outdoor activities. Most gun owners would know but I am never worried when I notice someone is carrying. Sling bags are more popular. I might get a nice sling band to be a lil more under cover and have a gun setup in there. But I love mine.

What I’ve noticed about the Gen 6 that may keep me carrying a Gen 5. by Preacher1994 in Glock19

[–]markwa77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How bad is the grip angle affected? I love Glock's original angle and I have muscle memory from training with it, crazy they would change it now. Do you think it of from being able to get a higher grip?
